Deleting Dune Mandatory Content and others

But Austin added a UFO in xplane, so that’s a game as well. Guess you only have p3d left

Wrong…the dune thing is installed during initial boot up and then there is an addon but it whacked my entire Xbox X MSFS.

What about Xbox? I am very disgusted as the Dune thing automatically installed outside of the marketplace addon.

I have both PC and Xbox for MSFS.
In never installed the Dune add on to either after updating both.
I dont have any new issues or problems with the sim since these were updated.
If you have an issue which you believe is due to the update ,including temporarily downloading the package, it might be
worth raising a ticket to ask them for assistance.

it doesn’t install anything, you only get splash screens.

You must have something automated then. We all had to install it manually from the marketplace.

What I have to digit in the content manager to find dune expansion? if I digit dune nothing is found. I know for sure that I dowloaded dune expansion because is present in the main screen of the sim

It shows anyway on home screen even if you haven’t downloaded it.

As @Hester40MT noted above, the Dune Expansion is an optional download from the Marketplace, and will not install unless you choose to install it. The only Dune-related image everyone sees is on the loading splash screen. Having this image does not mean you have installed it.

To check if it is installed, head to your Content Manager and search for the Dune Expansion.

you are right

It’s just a loading screen.

This method no longer works

This is not correct. I have an Xbox and Dune was not installed.
Only the splash screen and advertisement for the new content was added with the mandatory update. Just as it was for Top Gun.

All of my controls stayed as they were.

It’s just a loading screen, why is it irritating?

Yes there is a small utility from //42 - “Stripr” that replace the loading screens with “airports”.

Because it is not even something that exists in real life.
I don’t even know what it is. I wouldn’t mind if it was actually a product from the community being advertised. but this, sadly this is nonsense.

That seems to be very cool product. However I doubt with 18€:s their sale numbers are not that good.
