Destination path too long

Hi,

I get an error when copying to community folder, "destination path too long:

destination path to long

Never had that before but happened after latest release.

You can do it via the registry as outlined in the thread shared, but it’s shorter / easier to just update via the Group Policy Editor.

Both will acheieve the results you want.

but to be safe it should be mentioned that it is with a reason limited to 260 chars… not all tools are ready for long path support.

Hi All,

Didn’t use the regedit route but I created a symbolic link in a directory with mklink command. That solved it :+1:

A simple way is to paste the contents into a directory like D:\Community, then cut and paste it into the desired Community folder.
