Developer A320nx A/THR ON, but wont go above 250, or follow any input

Had 3 flights yesterday same thing, plus when starting decent, decent rate could not control,or Decrease in altitude, had to take full manual control, throttle, decent, following corse line, to approach…lol best thing my best ever smooth, landing.lol. on my way as im typing to IBiza from Heathrow… imagine it will be the same…

Ps…just had a small white message box appear, Saying go to ipad throttle configure showing
Error??? Could this be my problemo, if so anyone seen this, and again now please calibrate throttle now??..

Don’t know if I get your point correct, but:

In managed speed the A320 flies max. 250 knots under 10.000 feet.
That’s a restriction per air traffic regulations.

When descending to FL100, your plane will start to decelerate to 250kt.

When climbing above FL100, your plane will start to accelerate to the cruise speed

Hi thx for responding, im happy with the rules, its just its not doing what it use to, once cleared 10.000, i should be able to select 298kt, but when after i input that number, the plane goes to 340, and i cant do any thing to select a lower speed except take it out of A/THR, and fly speed manually, all the way to the rwy. At this moment im at 290 at at 290 speed just increased to 310 …and it wont move off the magenta speed icon…

This sounds like one that will require a short video showing your complaint. First you said it won’t go above 250 and now you say you can’t get it to slow from 340 followed by you flying at 310. The description is not consistent. Maybe a video would clear up some of the contradictions.

For me it’s sounds you’re not in managed speed mode. A screenshot of the panel would be nice

Are you in managed or open climb/descent? What if you’re in VS mode? What if you level out?

I think i need to up date my skill lvl,s when i found and clicked initiate decent, all hell let loose, and the planes speed came of 340 to 247, and a message im seeing today return flt from Rome to Gatwick is.A320nx ALERT please calibrated your throttles in the flypad
(EFB) but thats not working, maybe this developers version is above my pay grade.lol
It clear its for the very hard core simmers. How do you set decent speed, my decent now is 800ft per min iv but i cant seem to change speed unless i come out of auto

Id like to thx all you guys for your input, im so happy its working at all after 6weeks of try things, im not complaining its clear to me I dont know, as much as i thought about my skills with this aircraft, i have flown right around the world before Sep 17th all good landings From EGKK Flying east via Hong kong, Honaloulou. In The 320NX fly by wire,
I think i need to go back to basics, and use my simbrief for planning. BUT having said all this, another cool safe landing. I might go back to the standard, but you dont have to set the Alignment, which i like to do… thank you all.

Not necessarily for hard core simmers, but you do need a little understanding of the Airbus systems.

Why not try flying around in selected modes firstly - that will make the aircraft operate a bit more like a standard one. Those ones are when you PULL the knobs on the autopilot panel (Flight Control Unit). Set what you want and when you PULL (click down in legacy mode with the mouse) that will activate the mode to do what you have set.

The A320 does require that you are using legacy mode. The new blue highlight style doesn’t allow you to select the knobs properly yet.

Give it a go and report back here. There are lots of videos regarding managed modes (those that take their info mostly from the MCDU - the computer box to the side of the thrust levers - instead of what you dial in)
