Diamond DA-40 NG engine auto RPM and low FUEL PRESS bug

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Diamond DA-40 NG engine auto RPM control causing OVERSPEED! and no even full throttle needed. Also the FUEL PRESS stays always at bottom, never raise even if fuel pump set ON.

FREQUENY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

2300 is fine for takeoff and you’re allowed to have it there for up to 5 minutes. You’re even allowed to have it to 2500 for up to 20 seconds. 2100 is max continuous. Are you able to get the RPM to come back to this?

Nope, even if Im at half of torque, it show engine overspeed.

DA 40 has had this bug since 2020. It was a bug there and was summarily ignored. Maybe they won’t ignore this one…

this bug has been like this since the dawn of mankind

this is what made me abandon the da-40 (even though i love the plane).. i couldn’t stand that prop speed in the red, staring at me all flight like the evil eye of sauron… real shame

After SU4, engine RPM are fixed. It will always settle just bellow the RED rpm band :+1: not damaging the enigne anymore.
