There’s been a ton of threads regarding poor photogrammetry, Bing data, etc. I just rewatched the link video where Jorg talks about the World Improvements. Did any of this make it into the Sim? I’m seeing Bing data and photogrammetry from ~2013 in places like NYC. https://www.reddit.com/r/flightsi…

They showed maps and gave a number of 500 total TIN cities in 2024, however there hasn’t been a single new TIN city since the last CU/WU for 2020. Is this the TOTAL number they HOPE to reach by 2028? Because there certainly aren’t 500 TIN cities ATM. Sadly, many seem to be more boring midwestern US…

Threads are threads, the sim itself is different.

No. A ton was left. Even msfs support confirmed to me and others who submitted tickets. Much to be desired and to come later for aerials

Fair. Yeah. But still none the less disappointing and not released as marketed

Here’s a random city in Florida, clearly never was TIN. From this picture, it is more than evident it is now [image]

One of these? [image] If so, then it was in 2020. There is only one red dot (new addition to 2024) in FL and it looks like St Augustine. Most of FL is PG’d not TIN, you can tell because PG wants to make everything into a cube, while TIN has more granular detail (mostly compared to wax/clay).

can anyone provide coordinates to one of the countryside tins? i can’t seem to find any, its all autogen

They confirmed a few things 1-marketplace is delayed 2- 2020 content rollout is slow and delayed due to testing. Both for items not appearing in “my library” at all, as well as the Not Available label. 3- that new TIN, photogrammetry, and aerials for urban areas was planned for end of 2024. But i…

Did anything from this video make it in to FS2024?
