Discussion + Poll: Hotfix 1.18.14.0

Thank you for the tip.
No more screen tearing after locking FPS to 30, which is enough for a flight simula… sorry I meant a game …

Well, everything is working fine so far, but I haven’t tested live weather for example. Performance is about the same as with the update.

The FBW A320 - latest development version - seems to work ok

live AI traffic and missing jetways at many airports were not fixed by this. They seem like complex issues from what I’ve read so far, and developers are really frustrated too. I hope this is fixed soon.

I’m on Win11 and I have the new Store which does not give me a button for downloading the hotfix update today. On my laptop I’m running Win10 with the old store and it was a piece of cake. What am I missing? This is the screen I get on Win11:

Nothing about an update.

Same here. Not available on Windows 11. I guess it’s because the update is available in the Windows Store itself but not in the Xbox app for PC that Windows 11 users are obligated to use for this update.

Activating the approach and you go straight to the airport… also not fixed… but not sure if that was promised.

Whatever you just did you just broke it even more, .13 disabling AI at least it worked, now it is just completely broken. Anyone from Infosys or Wipro working for you by any chance…

So far so good. Pauses not happening… No CTD yet… Keeping fingers crossed.

Not for me. Jumped from -13°C to 67°C at FL370.

have you run a sfc /scannow, this can be done through the command prompt in administrator mode. 0xc0000005 usually indicates a corrupt file within the file system or sometimes more seriously a hardware error, more specifically RAM. What drive are you using for the install, HDD, SSD, Nvme etc…

I got it from the Xbox app on Win11, it was not in the store.
Not sure why.

They just broke a lot of 787 liveries along with other things such as

This is stupid. What’s so hard about putting out “updates” that don’t break stuff. My goodness. I’m so sick of this.

After loggin out of the Microsoft store, restarting the PC , and then login in again and eating a snickers , the sim updated. So now all good.

Temperatures are still not working properly and the ATC audio goes out mid flight. You hear responses from AI but not ATC instructions. Also first time flying at high altitudes, due to the reduced LOD, ground textures are very blurry.

Mine had a CTD when I tried to spawn from the gate at EGAA going to EGKK. So I tried again with the same flight plan. Everything went fine until final approach. Few stutters and pauses, then CTD.

I’ve removed the FBW for now until its 100% good to go.

Yep ATC just decides to clock out for us

Yes. I experienced this after the hotfix. In fact I get more more CTD’s than from update 5, which I didn’t think was possible. Before update 5, never had a single CTD. In VR its a proper mess. Massive mouse lag. Graphics even on really high settings are about on par with circa 2014 FSX with Orbx. Clkouds look like XP’s clouds even on Ultra. Its the mouse lag thats killing me the most, it gets gradually worse and worse until it stops altogether. No mods/nothing in Community. Never been a complainer or needy with issues, but this has put the nail in the coffin for me. I’m not spending time trying to polish a ■■■■ anymore.

This is what I’m getting so tired from, hangs at 89%…

Not a problem at all. Glad to be of help

delete C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\ Framework\v4.0.30319\Config

Next: machine.config and web.config (just search in the folder location)

X64 system delete at the same time

Corresponding files under Framework64

    After deletion:

Control Panel-> Programs and Features-> select microsoft framework 4.0 select repair

I just took a 45 min flight in the TBM. No issues for me.
