thanks, I would have hopped the overly green color filtered ground textures would have been a priority to update. Maybe next time.

Just to share, this last : even if Disneyland didnāt not yet downloaded with Photogrammetry, hereās the Catalina Island showing expected objects in the scenery, though hand-crafted POI from install of WU X :
And this one (Catalina Casino), which should be on Photogrammetry (just showing the background process is able to pick at least some few new objects, even on reduced bandwidth) :

Downloaded WUX late last night and didnāt have any issues with the WU download. Didnāt have much time to fly but when little I did was smooth.
I only skimmed through the other 330 posts in this thread so forgive me if it was covered, but when I turned the sim on, several updates were available in content manager including the base Deluxe and Premium versions of the game I purchased and several other WU. Is that normal?
Also, on the main screen when I accessed the āRelease Notesā¦ā screen after hitting the button on the lower left of the main screen, there is no longer a log of system updates and versions. Anybody else have the same issue?

Yes, thatās normal. They added new language support for all packages (Latin American Spanish and Simplified Chinese) so a lot of stuff has updates.
Iām a bit surprise that it is the USA. Because USA was already in World Update II. A lot of other countries to do, and they do 2 times the sameā¦ strange.
Yes, keep in mind that any airport or POI in the US that was a part of the Deluxe or Premium versions, Top Gun DLC (Miramar), Reno Air Race, etc, they all likely required updates to be compatible with the new DEM and aerial data.

Where is the number of this release? Usually it could be found on the sim main page under āā¦ release notes/Infoā¦ā. Not any more. Just text - at least on Xbox. Did MS forget to put the version number in?

Youād like the retail Gaya version of KBID. The one bundled in World Update 10 is the same - minus some assets - like the NEA Twin Otter parked at Spot 1.
And donāt forget to check out the three new Rhode Island POIs - Beavertail Lighthouse (Jamestown), The Breakers Mansion (Newport) and Ponham Rocks (East Providence).
Jorg said before in a recent Dev Q&A that USA was so large they needed to make at least two passes on it.

That makes sense. But it does make me think back to a previous comment of mine, that its just possible the golden age of WUās are behind us now. Weāve had the US, Europe/Uk/Iberia, Japan, Australia, and Italy done, to name a few.
There is plenty left of the rest of the world to be done of course, but it doesnāt seem like there is as big a draw for those.
Thanks for the comparison shots. Did you manage to keep the KSAN airport but the photogrametry city ? The Midway carrier from LatinVFR looks too much cartoonish for me 
I know they said they improved San Diego. The city looks fine, but just past the Coronado Bay Bridge, I wish they could remove trees growing out of ships.

Yes, Orbx Alaska mesh has conflicts at least with this new hand crafted Valdez field, hope there arenāt more.
The questions are: do we need this Alaska mesh from Orbx anymore? Is the new mesh (new aerial and elevation data) equal to the Orbx one, or even better? Is there a new map of mesh resolution of North America? Anyone?

Shame they still havenāt done anything for central Washington, they only care about Seattle. For example Pangborn Memorial in East Wenatchee still has less than half the buildings than are actually there. You would think that area would have a little more interest considering itās where Miss Veedol landed after doing the first non-stop trans-Pacific.
I was already on Premium upgrade, it looks I was not getting the need to update more than the 12 mentioned and not any aircraft in the overall. Perhaps because I was already up to date previously
The mesh for world updates is still like 50 or 25m I believe. The Orbx would be 10m, plus you give up the Junea airport if you get rid of the Orbx Alaska mesh.

What a Pleasant surprise !!
I had MSFS crash only a few days ago, when it lost Internet connection ā¦ Great to see that one potentially identified & fixed .
