Thanks. I understand that. Just way too sensitive. What I deem as a personal attack, like being critical of someone’s opinion, seems to be fine, but if tell you to keep that to yourself, it’s inappropriate. That is truly hypocritical. But whatever. This forum is supposed to be about the program and how to improve it. Not about your feelings. If it cost a nickel for each post, we’d have a lot less feelings being hurt.

All - I have determined that the anti-virus package ZONE ALARM prevents the patch from loading/scheduling. I have removed it from my PC and immediately the patch downloaded. I will put in Zendesk ticket on this. But be aware, any aftermarket package is suspect concerning the downloading and installation of the patch. It also could make a difference in the simulator to make it work erratic or cause systems to not operate as they should. Suggestion, take off any and all aftermarket AV and Firewall packages and let the built in Windows Defender do it’s job until we get this sorted out. Thanks.

After Patch i have issues with Trackir5, when i move may head fast from one to the other side it crashes to desktop multible times, stable wizhout trackir.
If I do not use MFS for 6 months, does this mean I have to sequentially apply all the updates when I eventually run MFS again?

Thank you, I found that shortly after I posted. I have my aircraft and airports back, I had to redownload them all through Content Manager.
I probably shouldn’t have posted in the heat of the moment, I do like the Sim for what it is. It’s just immensely frustrating to have all these problems.
I really wish I could get the ATC working but that’s still not. I’ll have to look into Vatsim or something I guess.

I will be fixes (or updated) eventually. In terms of when, we don’t know.
But the good thing is, we will have world update every couple months or so and if it covers your region, then the issue would likely be fixed.

Have you manually downloaded the two Japan content updates via Content Manager? If not, please do so as seems to fix the issue (globally, not just in Japan).
What is the iPad app name that you’re using ?

I haven’t had mine go all blank, but I’ve had it “freeze” before. That or going back to just showing the screen titles and nothing else working. (like when it’s plugged in but no sim is running)
What I discovered is that the Logitech plugin crashes. What I have to do is just click the icon for the driver to manually load it back up and it’s working again.

All - Oh Forgot to mention, event viewer did not have any issues about ZA blocking the patch. Now it is noted, that every other program/application in “The Store” has as needed downloaded and installed with ZA on the system, the only one blocked was Flight Simulator. This leads me to speculate, some code in the MSFS program reacts with ZA which thinks is spurious/damaging/malicious in some manner. It’s off my system for now, have created Zendesk report, and notified ZA (Checkpoint) of the issue. It may be that allowing an exception in the firewall would allow it to process it, but why do all the other things come into PC fine, but the game is blocked?
That’s not “dophin diving”. That’s flying in bad weather. You’ve obviously never experienced what actual porpoising looks like.

It should run very well. I have i7 8700k rtx 2080 super 1 tb ssd and 4k gaming monitor 60hz. Its very smooth except heavy airport like lfpg but still flyable. Something is wrong either in the settings or internet is lagging. Have you tried restarting your pc?
I think once you run it it’ll update to the latest which would cover all previous updates
Did you manually update the japan content in content manager? You should
change your Ambient Occlusion setting to LOW. Not only you’ll get more fps but you’ll also get more natural looking AO.
