Hey everyone,
There were reports of Crash to Desktop when returning to the Main Menu after the USA update. One cause was if you had the instrument flight training mission pack, FS Academy - IFR installed.
This has been fixed with version 1.2 and has been given to the stores for them to update, available imminently!

With the new update, DA20 has a bug in the CG limit section.
CG is way forward than it should be even if you do the loading very carefully.
Does anyone know how to fix it? Or should we wait for the next update?

If I said the avionics across multiple aircraft are inadequate, and need a lot of work, that will likely not get removed.
If I instead started casting aspersions about the developers, arguing with moderators, writing abusive things about posters who disagreed with me, those almost certainly would.

Saw someone else mention in another post that all water masking is gone since the latest update. Just checked this today and can confirm on my end that all water masking is now missing. Flew over the Bahamas & Turks and Caicos which both had spectacular water masking before this update and also flew over Oahu and found the same - so itās not just a USA thing. Hereās a before and after from Kaneohe Bay Oahu:
Do what tags you wish with this but I just feel after the update Omaha, Nebraska and surrounding areas are completely unacceptable. Completely uncalled for to have this in a full game.

Has anyone else had missing buildings after the update? I have no buildings even on max settings.

I haveā¦ more times than I can count lol. But honestly, seeing all the issues everyone else is having. Maybe the update for ms store got pulled due to the issues, I might be better off waiting lol
Yes as a retired engineer I do understand the realities of the development process and the complexity of finding and fixing software bugs. They do have a tiger by the tail. However to brake this cycle of breaking things that worked before a mandatory update I do hope the developers return to more thorough testing as they have said they are planning to do. Hopefully this will allow simmers to continue to enjoy what does work in this great simulator with greater confidence in the performance of future updates.
Nope It doesnāt do anything. The rivers especially since beginning of beta have been 100 feet deep and now creeks and streams are 300 foot tall terrain.
Itās looking like a simple uninstall/reinstall may be working for me after all. Once uninstalled via the xbox app, I rebooted my pc, downloading 1.11.6.0 now through the MS store after I opened the xbox app. Wasnāt showing before, Iām wondering if it was something I had added in earlier into the community folder such as a POI.
I tried emptying the cache, re-set to defaults, then slowly adding complexity and nothing. I got a few larger buildings in down town Tulsa, and a couple of older buildings at Tulsa Int. but the terminal is still missing as are all the smaller buildings in the area. Even NYC is eerily missing some buildings. Like going back in time but the airport runways are there. LOL. I guess removing the last update might be the only answer for me.
Think the whole patch needs rolling back. Needs more testing. Airliners are all broken in some way!
