Came across this today on YouTube. A recent video of someone building a custom AP panel and demonstrating it on the FBW A320. Maybe he should put together a Kickstarter program to make it more widely available.

DIY flight simulator panels have become somewhat ubiquitous. I don’t think kickstarter’s would do well at this point. Unless of course it’s a professional-grade low-cost solution

The push -button function to set managed modes in the Airbus planes is a nice feature. That’s something not possible with just control keybinds.

I bought one and it arrived today. Haven’t had a lot of time to put it through it’s paces but a quick flight in the FBW A320 went smoothly. I made one configuration change on the default A320 profile. More testing to come.

Will do. I’d like to spend some more time with it and try it in a few planes.

It ships with three profiles (FBW A320, Aerosoft CRJ, and a “Generic Asobo” autopilot primarily for G1000 equipped planes).

I might try to put a profile together for the Salty B747 if MobiFlight has the 747 sim variables available. I haven’t looked into those details yet.

Kind of an old topic but I am strying to build one of these. Has anyone built one succesfully? I have a couple of very basic questions and was hoping someone could push me down the right path.

I have all the parts now. Starting in the upper right, when looking at the wiring diagram (from the back) it shows I need GND and 5v. Piece of cake with the bread board.

Then the first wire says it goes from the 7 segment display to D49. Then what? Doesn’t something have to connect to D49 other than the LED?

Does anyone have photos, a better wiring diagram or suggestions?

You could probably ask the creator on his Discord server. I don’t think he does active development on it anymore but he seems to be still supportive.
