  1. Are we getting Ray Tracing?
  2. Are RTX 30 series cards able to use DLSS 3?

important questions of our times…

I posted the same thing yesterday and a Mod removed my thread.

I have a feeling DLSS 3 will only be available on RTX40series but I maybe wrong. If that is the case time for me to upgrade.

what power did he say 4080 uses?

He didn’t, he showed a graph that went to 450W assuming for 4090

I give it only a few weeks after launch before someone starts complaining they are only getting 10 fps on their brand new 4090Ti with LOD set at 100

Not with SU10, but possibly with SU11 or 12 from the looks of it.

Any chance DLSS3 is available for the 2000 and 3000 series too?

Keep in mind RTX ON is how they show that the card has DLSS, not that the game has raytracing or will have raytracing

Possibly for the 3000 series. Not sure about the 2000 series though.

They do intend to have ray tracing in MSFS at some point. It’s been spoken of in the past. I think DLSS and FSR 2.0 are the keys to that. Running 4K with ray tracing will be a frame killer. However, upsampling tech will help with that significantly.

DLSS 3 is shipping with the 4090 October 12th. There has been no mention about DLSS3 being supported on 20series or 30series. Lets wait and see.
