Do you (still) think deluxe and premium were worth it?

i was wondering how some people took special off airport pictures…then tried it myself:
At Courchevel

I got the top level product because I always get the best of any package. I am enjoying the new sim so far

Depends on what you’re looking for. In my case bought the standard version and ended buying extra addons through the marketplace and will probably with for the study level stuff to come.I am itching for the Baron 58 as I’m no fan of the DA62.

Hopefully its sorted out in the performance update. So far from my experience payware airports run quite well in this sim

Had I known about the issues, no, I wouldn’t have, but money is not a big issue for me.

I’ve got what i expected. Airports are payware quality and some planes i really love 787, baron, 172 skyhawk and citation. since i don’t care about all those payware airports (the prices are insane, 15€ for an airport lmao) i’m happy with what i’ve got.

Payware price imo for this sim seem fair.At least cheaper than what they are on P3D and X-PLANE.They also perform better than the default airports

Not a happy camper right now. I paid for the premium deluxe via ms store and got the deluxe version. MS does not answer an e mail. I’ve tried their little “fixes” to no avail and after 3 months, there has been no provision for me to “own” the premium version or get the p.d. Update. I’m reluctant to uninstall/reinstall in case I lose it completely. After today”s update, I may do it anyway.

Yes it is. Standard + Ovation example is very good. I have unistalled X-Plane now and fly only MSFS, DCS and IL2. When we get VR and helicopters it going to be magnificent.

WHAT NDA ? Do you even have a copy of it ? can you still even obtain a copy and read it again ??

No doubt YOU worked had to get the pre-release as good as you were allowed to .. but it is very clear from some of the post from a lot of the “alpha Testers”, that they both did not have a clue about Flying, and just used the “early access” to “fly around and play” – an still they did not seem to learn much from that early exposure, based by what they post here in this forum.

If MS/Asobo even do any more Testing programs, it would behoove them to select those that can provide useful & meaningful feedback.

Do you sell your x-plane license ?

These licences are not for resell. I have flew for every cent I paid even when I count additional content.

What about the fact that the nice looking alphanumeric keypad being totally inop in a premium deluxe aircraft?

Hmm, I was on gamepass originally. I bought the deluxe/premium and the extra airports and planes showed up in content manager after a day or so. I downloaded only 1 or 2 a day for the next 2-3 weeks.

As for the OP/thread question I would say it’s a fair deal compared to the price of addons in the Marketplace. Sure you don’t get to pick and chose but compare $3 to any of the mktplace addons. I just wish they would let the community mod the premium planes.

I bought Standard Edition and really miss some aircraft bundled with Deluxe Edition, like Cessna 172 with steam gauges.

Now I have flew more and can say that standard is good. Baron G58 is only I use from Deluxe. Additional planes were good to test so now I now better what I want when 3rd parties do bettre planes. I think I wll buy Twin Otter. I did flew lot with C172 with steam gauges but now I usually choose G1000 version.
