Just looked at my MS account and I have 14 days to request a refund - provided that I have not played the game, If only!!!

Worked flawless since 10 hours. Instant loading, instant world map to flight transition. No crash to desktop. So far okay for me.

I see the servers have gone back to being hammered again this evening. I can load up the simulator ok but canāt then load into an actual flight.

I have to wonder what they used to generate the promo video that runs as the sim is being set up
To be fair, I screwed around with the premium edition from Microsoft for 6 hours and only managed the sim to boot looking like a moonscape so decided to try for a refund. Took exactly 60 seconds from the first email acknowledging my request and the next email confirming the refund. You need to initiate it from the Xbox appā¦ request a refund for digital games and sign in.
Done nothing to the sim but read here since yesterdays fiasco. Today it opened right up and I have flown 2 to 3 hrs. Some bindings were off, but I was able to import my settings from 2020. Flying as I type, I need to restart because of some changes, but Iāll just keep flying for a bit. Overall Iām seeing a playable sim that looks ok given the issues, but a little clumsy browsing for things. Iām gonna use the day for browsing the sims functions. Not pouring salt here and donāt know why today its up and running. Iām east coast USA. Flying the Honda jet,

I had a CDT shortly afterwards and I donāt think I can bear loading the sim again to check whether it is still thereā¦

Iāve made a short flight with the Nxcub. In VR.
Relatively smooth.
There were strange lights refelections in the side glasses.
Iām really disappointed by what should be the new high resolution Bing mapsā¦It looks to me like low resolution terrain with artificial housesā¦
Some bindings did not work, maybe not the right ones, so I have to dig.
Oh, and a biz jet was parked at a small grass airclubā¦
Some electrical pylones are not realistic.
And a lot of trees without leages where there should be pine treesā¦
Overal thought : disappointing.
You appear to be having better luck in the States but here in the UK it is still far from acceptable!

Yeah UK it is pretty much a no go, i have made some flights in the 152 for 45 mins no problem and did manage a taxi take off in the A321 but that CTD 10 mins into the flight. Missing all terminal buildings at EGKK but air bridges and aircraft there, EGLL some buildings but aircraft not rendered correctly, EGPH looked pretty good .
Cockpit textures are ok for a while and then blur , i guess this is server related is it? My internet speeds are all good and i can load into the sim fairly quick but it is not a pleasent experiance atm.

Youāre bandwidth sucks though I imagine.
Have hopefully set up my joystick controls and saved. Went to Free Flight and cannot get it to actually load up a flight - server issues again? Doesnāt seem to matter if I just choose one airport, remove traffic, change aircraft - nothing!!! Sat here for 40 min and so far nothing ā¦
The game runs fine for me with some glitches. Issues must be hardware dependent.
If you only realized now that you were going to pay to Beta test youāre probably not familiar with the franchise. Iām quite happy to push this thing along as itās developed.
