I got the game running on my Xbox Series X, after 10 minutes of loading, created my pilot, started up career mode, selected an airport to start, did the first two lessons, no problem… but then I went to my PC, and nothing have worked since, not even on my Xbox.
NO : but steam says that I have played 3 hours on it : I am still looking to the plane and the airport… only grey, grey and again grey… What a game for more than 200 € !!! Thanks a lot MS and merry Christmas…

I think for a full install you have to reboot your computer multiple times.
People who only see a few planes are not fully installed. I’ll continue flying 2020 until everything calms down.
If anyone cares, The 2020 servers are running nice and smoothly today.

I was able to install, made a character adjusted settings.. then went to start a career and it wouldn’t let me set my home airport. Figured maybe it was something with it starting up for the first time so I closed out of it and opened it up again.. and I havent been able to get to the menu since. That was about 2 or three hours ago.
Stuck on “login queue”, no progression there.
Hope to be able to play soon, career looks so interesting!

I would put it more, they were forced into a release date, and, given the state of the code, they couldn’t public beta… sooo, you’re it!

I’m 100% positive they knew it would be tough. Despite all the signs, I imagine even they’re suprised. We’ve seen before that they have no clue, still, how popular their product is. Also, these issues are beyond the control of Asobo and have more to do with Microsoft’s backend, and FS is a drop in the bucket for what they have to deal with every day.

I don’t understand why everyone is so upset. The initial download of the game is the highest load the servers will ever experience from each user. There are thousands of people trying to download, therefore the servers are over-taxed. Give it a day or two. Relax! This will soon be forgotten.

What streamers? None of the ones I saw were able to load in before I got bored and put on the SpaceX Starship/Super Heavy launch stream from NSF instead.
