Done it! Western Europe to Alaska, following transiberian, bering straight, 175 legs, 6 months work!

Today I finished it: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmzOsvLA0dhnctyl-d_hv3iba7rb6tW09 all flown in props.

I’ve learned so much about Russia, seeing other youtubers travel videos of the transiberian places I stopped at it.

Some BIG gaps in scenery in Russia, particularly the north east which was the last part of my trip. Curiously there was some photo scenery occasionally on the last bits, but it was really slow to load and only covered a small area underneath me. I wonder if the servers keep rarely flown over scenery on slower disks.

All scenery west of Moscow is great, don’t recall any autogen landclass there.

Some annoying bugs:
When loading a saved flight, if I’d landed in a field, one of the wheels would immediately sink into ground and the prop would stop. I’d have to just start a new flight airborne using the same lat and long.
Loaded flights forget whatever navigation setting you had, and are set to take you to the last place you flew to.
A few crashes, always after at least 20 mins, very frustrating.

Next plan: The coast of the Americas - Alaska to cape horn, back up the east coast, and the north west passage.
