Downloading manual updates

Hi,

My Dad’s on the world’s slowest net connection. I will beat him into eventually upgrading but I digress.

Bearing in mind that he’s on the steam edition, is there a way that I can download update files for him and then install on his pc at a later date?

Yikes, the only thing I can think of is having a copy of the entire game, pasting it in the folder and letting the installer “fix it” … I’ve sort of done this once moving the game to another drive and it seemed to work.

You could look in the official folder to all files with a modified date of the time of the update, copy that to a stick and paste it at your dad’s

P.S.
Don’t forget to also look for updates in the content manager.

P.P.S.
As a lazy approach, you could copy your entire folder to an external HDD/SSD.
