I have the drone camera set up in my joystick to yaw left and right on the z-axis. The camera continuously spins to the left unless I counteract it to the right. It didn’t use to do this. How can I make it stop where I want it without spinning? Adjust sensitivity? This is the only problem I have with the joystick. I’m getting dizzy!
Same problem here. It started doing this out of the blue.
check the calibration of your controller, or add a small deadzone.
I did both - no change. Could it be caused by intereference from another camera setting or control?
Other controller is most likely then. Have a gamepad (like Xbox controller) connected too? If any controller bound to the camera is drifting (as in, not centered, or not enough deadzone) it will result in a moving camera.
I had this once because my connected XBox 360 controller was leaning on something with one of the thumbsticks (I use this controller for the drone cam).
I only have a racing wheel. Nothing is set up for it in MSFS.
So I set up the yaw left and right using the keyboard instead of the stick - no spinning.
test with the wheel disconnected, for science.
in that case maybe try a larger deadzone?
I did try 50%.
Could the joystick be bad? Only 2 years old and all flying seems ok.
Got a new joystick. Things look to be solved.
