I’ve seen this with other scenery packages, where if you try to spawn too close the sim freezes at the loading screen, but spawning further away and flying into it is no problem, so it’s probably more of a SU5 issue than an individual addon.
Just for what it’s worth…i had the same problem, while trying to solve this i discovered that i still had some updates left for 3 world updates packages (benelux, japan and northern countries) in my content manager. They were less than 200kb but still there were updates. After updating them my freezes loading some flights (UUEE, EHRD, ENBR) were gone…hope someone benefits from this as well.
Everything is up to date on mine. The only thing I can think could affect me is that I don’t have the default KORD installed, but it wouldn’t make sense if I’m not using it.
hmmm the only thing I left out are the vanilla liveries but it was weird that i had those bits of updates left. Maybe it’s worth a try to uninstall/install the market place content only with an empty com. folder ofc. and if you are not bound to extra costs for your internet…
It seems that Drzewiecki was hit hard by SU5.
Their Tokyo Narita is also now missing all of its ground clutter and static aircraft.
orbx scenery like london city cape town and dubai cause loading freeze if bought from marketplace…In community they don’t create problems
Orbx Dubai is not causing any freezes for me no matter where i spawn
have you bought it from market place or orbx central?
It cause loading freeze most of times if you bought it from official marketplace

I have dozen of official scenery…most of them work well, but moscow london cape town and dubai cause problems
This is definitely a marketplace issue. It’s happening with Seattle Landmarks now and this was not an issue a couple weeks back.
I am also trying to use the marketplace version of Moscow, it freezes.
Case 1:
- Open FS and select UUMO
- Stop loading at 60%
- End FS from task manager
Case 2:
- Open FS and uninstall Moscow Landmarks from the content manager
- Select UUMO
- Loading will end and you can fly
- Back to the main menu
- Install Moscow Landmarks again
- Select UUMO
- Now loading will be fine and you can play
- EXIT THE GAME
- Open FS and select UUMO
- Stop loading at 60%
- End FS from task manager
So… Probably FS change some files in the folder and when you restart the game it will hang again.
I also have the Marketplace download of Moscow Landmarks which has the 60% hangup.
DD support say a new encrypted version of the FS Marketplace introduced with SU5 is the culprit and various sceneries are affected by it…all downloaded from the Marketplace.
I have deleted my scenery and await events. My DD Washington Landmarks seem OK
I wonder why MS/Asobo keep silent about this problem and they don’t inform if they will fix it with next week’s update.
If they don’t, and since it only applies to DD Moscow and Chicago bought via Marketplace, I will need to know how to ask for a refund in order to buy them somewhere else.

Today’s update doesn’t make any difference.
Moscow & Chicago Landmarks (MS Marketplace version) keep freezing at 60% loading.
I’m fed up. I want a refund.
I’ve bought DD Moscow Landmarks in Marketplace and can’t use in since SU5 released.
Drzewiecki Design says the problem in MFS2020 Marketplace and the absence of this issue for those who bought this scenery pack in other stores confirm it. If this is really the case, then only Asobo/Microsoft can fix it.
But it seems for me Asobo do nothing to fix their issues with 3-d party products in Marketplace. At least I don’t see it. There are no news about the planned date of issue fixing. And I have not received any response to the bug report to technical support of MFS2020.
It looks like Asobo/Microsoft already has got my money for the product in Marketplace and now they don’t care if it works or not.
If Asobo/Microsoft doesn’t want to fix this Marketplace issues or they can’t fix it, Asobo/Microsoft should refund money for products which become broken after Marketplace updates.
The only way to fly those scenerys now is to spawn 100km away from the city and fly into it or move fast forward to it… sad really…
The same has been happening to me since SU5, Chicago Landmarks along with FSDreamteam’s KORD. Worked fine before SU5 and now can’t use either one of them…together or separate. Freeze then CTD. I honestly believe Microsoft and Asobo took on a little more than they can handle. And to know these problems are happening and to not address them…BIG thanks for that. And when they charged more for extra aircraft that didn’t work?! That was nice of them. The devs had to clean up that mess. I agree, if they can’t or won’t fix what they broke, they should issue refunds. Most of the time after the updates, come the hours of trouble shooting why the sim is crashing. And just think…they’re contracted for 9 more years. YAY!
I had to uninstall the scenery to even attempt to land in Chicago. I’ll install if from time to time and see if there was a fix. Nothing as of last week. Still freezes. I would assume when the scenery is updates, it will be highlighted in the marketplace.
