I am hearing reports that this is currently unresolved and worse in SU15 beta… please fix this Asobo… the sim is really in need of DX12 and this is a brutal immersion killer.

They said they were aware of this issue in OCTOBER ‘22 and working on a fix……. Here we are in April ‘24. Not good enough.

Well, increasing the render scale to 200 also significantly increases the VRAM need. Although several people somehow showed that they get the issue also without maxed out VRAM, you observation is in line with mine: the fuller the VRAM, the more the issue appears.

yeah it appears for me even tho my VRAM has not fully filled either, but it appears faster with it. hence the tip from our community for Asobo to set it to max to see it quicker.

What is you native resolution? Render scale without it is kind of useless. 200 with 1080p is “just” 4k.

@lkowgli 1440p, you can see the resolution in the dev mode overlay. It’s different for each user tho. This happened in my testings with a 7900XTX with 24GB VRAM at 1080p as well without render scaling. The whole scaling thing is to make this issue appear faster as mentioned above and in the video…
