I’ve seen this effect before, so it’s definitely not new with this hotfix.
Maybe we should get some people to stand in a circle and clap for this dancing plane.

Sorry all – how are you seeing this beta? I am opening Xbox Insider and do not see any way to join (on Windows 11) and I’ve been in several past flights.
What app or program did you use to put the graph together? Very cool!
I know that the beta is only available at this time to those that were involved in previous betas, and everyone else will have access tomorrow.
What I’m wondering about is the patch notes… are they available now to everyone? If so, can someone direct me to them?
Thanks in advance!
Specific groups, eg, designated aircraft SMEs, designated peripheral testers, etc., got it 2 days early. I’ve kept silent on it yesterday, until i was told that there’s no NDA. You’ll get it tomorrow.
Same here, I have tested multiple previos Beats and I do not see this one listed in the xBox Insider app as of yet.
Does anyone know if there are plans to open up the betas to Steam users at some point?
Unrelated to the beta but back to what another user said….it’ll be great one day to see runways get cleared of snow to make things slightly more visible.
Beta test - Runway about an hour ago KDLH (Duluth MN) it was snowing out and snow on the ground but the runway was just wet with no snow on it.
same here, yesterday morning in florida suddenly wind about 90kts, and today over France started at Montpellier, wind 60kts climbing to FL300
some clouds are still grainy ![]()
I think it’s the white hue of recently cleared & salted pavement. The winter ground textures don’t appear to be snow on the ground. It “looks” like dry pavement - I wouldn’t be surprised to see tarmac like this in the real world.
Anybody know how long this beta will run for before the patch release?
if ya like KGPI, i would recommend getting this payware AddOn:
Is there any chance the fix regarding WASM modules is the issue effecting certain 3rd party planes on Xbox, such as the Spitfire door not closing in a cold and dark state?
The developer said it was confirmed by MS to be an issue effecting multiple 3rd party planes that stops WASM code from running correctly on Xbox. I can’t get any update from the developer about it except that a fix was found in early November.
Here are the releasenotes for those who can’t wait ![]()
Can confirm after an hours flight that:
- assistance options are persistent
- clouds are not sinking into the ground
- fog/haze whatever is more realistic
+1 for that
