I would like to kindly renew the question. When could we expect this bird to fly on our simulators? Will there be option to show co-pilot? Will it be for 2020 or 2024 or both?
good question when the come. or its only joke this?
Any progress on this? The cockpit looked almost ready about 5 montsh ago.
i think him only joke with us guys ![]()
him not, give us information …
No need to ask when when when. I simply dont reply to when when when. Its a airplane. It tskes time..i dont know when .
There’s a really interesting article from Admiral Cloudberg about the Aeroflot 1492 crash that goes deep into the plane’s systems.
It highlights just how peculiar this plane is, which I hope gets modeled appropriately.
For example, even though it’s based on Airbus-style fly-by-wire, it actually doesn’t have a failsafe like Alternate Law, where you lose some protections but fly-by-wire functionality is maintained.
In the SSJ, pretty much any sensor issues - whether minor or major - immediately kick the plane into Direct Mode (equivalent of Direct Law) where it becomes a conventional plane. The stick controls the ailerons / elevators directly, no autotrim, basically all manual.
An interesting highlight from the article is just how unreliable the FBW system is. Apparently there’s 1 instance for every 63,000 flight hours, or 26 times more likely than the system was originally designed to. Completely unheard of in something like Airbus, and of course a big component in the crash mentioned in the article.
Anyway, really fascinating read.
I dont know what that is supposed to mean. But all the information regarding the aircraft is always on thr headwind server…
discord sever or what you mean? send me here, if you have some site..
Is there a way to make the wings visible ? - would allow some great camera wing views to be configured…
