This has always been like that but it is greyed out just means to do that core content download when available it requires a restart.
Unless they’re surprising us with bigger better update, you never know at least we hope
don’t get your hopes up – this will usually, always lead to disappointment.

As said without a screenshot to show this email I won’t believe it last we was told is that we would be told the release date for a patch to fix recent issues.
Give us evidence especially as many often interpret things wrong not saying you are but seen it to many times.
yeah just wait till 27th to see if microsoft could give us a patch before december 25th

I understand you misunderstood last thursday announcement , when they said on 27th they will only tell us the date of the patch, not the patch itself.
Otherwise show the link to the other support announcement.

I think the OP needs to correct this post as it will just get way too many excited, for nothing.
This “mandatory update” in content manager is just a bug. Does not at all imply an 80gb update is coming.

Microsoft and asobo have some ■■■■ explaining to do not to mention apologies for broken alpha software released way early!
They said they were going to talk about a patch in a blog post coming out on the 27th, not that a patch was coming on the 27th. From the blog post:
“The team is currently working hard to provide a patch update to address issues that have been recently reported. Expect a release date for the patch in our August 27th update.”

I’ve seen that sitting in there since day 1 of the release. Very unlikely it is the patch.

How dumb, wait a week or two for info about broken game, then finally we get info, it’s about more info being released on a special day about maybe a future patch to only fix install issues?
