EFB don't send route to avionic #msfs-2024

Why, in the missions, the EFB button “send route to avionic” doesn’t work? I’m doing something wrong or the option is deactivate in the missions?

Same here, sending or getting plans to / from avionics via EFB doesn’t do anything, also in free flight. I tried with airbus 320 neo defaul and airbus 320 neo v2. Anything that we should be doing for this to work?

Can confirm for A320Neo and A321 in Free Flight. “Send to Avionics” is without function.

In the A321 and A320 the default in sim flight planner seems to conflict or bug out the iniBuilds simbrief integrated flight planner leading to the copilot halfway through a flight randomly requesting destination changes albeit to the exact destination you had set initial anyway.

I thought I was the only one with such a problem.

Same issue here. Send route to avionics not working. Tried both a320 neo and 321. Am I doing something wrong??

You are doing everything right, this is a mistake on the part of the developer. You need to wait until it is fixed.

Do we know if it’s on the radar to fix? I have this issue as well, and it’s number 1 on my wishlist to fix

Im having the same problem with all the aircraft and the EFB.

Created route with 3 custom waypoints on the worldmap, loaded into the game and avionics was showing only one of the custom waypoints and it went straight to arrival airport. “Send route to avionics” did nothing. Route in EFB was correct. Its just broken and at this point I’m unable to follow created flight plan. Just fly random around as dummy. I hope this will be fixed soon or I will shelve this game at least for a year.

When inside the cockpit ready to fly, you can use the FMC to setup a simple route.
Use INIT button to get INIT page. Then click its other buttons to enter FROM/TO Airport name like EGLC/EGLL, it will show on the bottom left of the screen, then press top right button next to FMC screen to activate and see it on the screen there.

Then use F-PLN button and select EGLC and later EGLL to set DEPARTURE and ARRIVAL runways and ILS with optional waypoints. Then *INSERT on bottom right of screen. May need arrow button to scroll for more more options.

May get F-PLN DISCONTINUITY, when reach it in flight, must use DIR to jump the gap. Scroll to the waypoint beyond the gap you want, press left side button next to it. Then top left button next to *waypoint to activate.

thanks for the guide. sure, you can do it from inside the cockpit on some planes, maybe most of them, if it does work, its modeled and not glitched out, using airport names. What I want to have is to setup CUSTOM waypoints on the world map using the “add” and transfer that flight plan into avionics using EFB. Simple and fast. I thought this should be possible. But it does not work.

This happened to me using a Cessna-longitude as well.

I hate the EFB. Hopefully creating a flight plan on the globe page will load into the aircraft automatically like it did in 2020.

JayJay3692, deactivate the copilot from assistance menu in the settings, it is very buggy and you cannot resolve the problem otherwise. Plus, this will help you pay morr attention to ATC instructions.

BTW, just so you know, when landing, especially ILS, try to go down a bit earlier than the ATC tells you to. ATC is doing it a bit too late and sometimes they wont give you a step - to - step descent…they will just aks you to descent to 2.500 from FL 320 on Arrival…so yeah. If you dont want them screaming at you that you are below assigned alt, request FL decrease from the ATC menu before you get to the arrival.

Why isn’t this a bigger issue with people? Is it working for some and a select few its not working for? Surely not everyone knows how to use the MCDU? Frustrating that I cant just create a flight and have it load up in the aircraft like 2020.
