Those buttons both remain grayed out for me. That started with the 3.01 update and didn’t change with 3.02. I may uninstall and reinstall to see if that corrects it.
Will try the same.
I bought this from the Marketplace yesterday. I have uninstalled the Asobo one (which I used before) but this one doesn’t seem to be working correctly. In particular, the jetways are a mess. It’s like the Asobo ones are still there, but are glitching into the third party ones.
Does anyone else own it through the marketplace? Any issues with it?
Do you have GSX Pro? if so make sure you disable 3rd party jetway replacement
If that doesn’t work, delete the Rolling Cache and try again.
Managed to sort this now. Seemed to be GSX caused. Usually I do the disabling of jetways when I get an airport but forgot here. Doh!
just updated to the new build and the performance is noticeably better and more stable.
made me return to London after a long time.
Hey there. There was an update wich includes wu 17 compability, but I never had problems with the old version. Whats the difference?
I don’t have it handy (on my tablet now), but the iniManager has a detailed changelog for each version.
So there was an update to ini’s EGLL a couple days ago. Works fine in FS2020 but I’ve had a CTD every time (twice in a row) trying to load into it in FS2024. Although most of their airports are not formally listed as '24 compatible, this one worked for me prior to the update.
Has anyone else updated and been able to load in successfully in FS2024?
EDIT: Scratch that. On a third attempt, I was able to load into a gate in the 787-10 at this scenery.
There’s a new Inibuilds EGLL Premium just been released for FS2024. Discount code available if you are an existing Ini FS2020 EGLL owner.
I plan to pick this up after work today.
I just got it it looks amazing.
Some quick screengrabs of Ini’s Premium FS2024 EGLL, the interiors are off the charts with detail. A new bar has been raised I think.-
Dare I ask about performance? ![]()
Keep in mind I’m sat at T5 in the Fenix, but so far I have a FPS drop but it’s livable with (I think) ask me again during takeoff or landing!
My VRAM is at 80% of 24GB (3090), but that could be FS2024. Ini have done lots of LOD optimising I think. T5 reduces in detail the further away you get.
There specs for running it start at a 2080 which isn’t so bad. Buy at your own risk though lol. ![]()
I may not fly tonight, but go grab a seat and watch incoming traffic!
My GPU is at 100% and I’m using DLSS performance! (usually I’m more used to 85% ish)
EDIT: Will need to try to optimise somehow. FPS for me in the fenix is in the low teens for takeoff with BATC + FSLTL traffic. Tried turning TLOD/OLOD down but no help. Will persevere.
Their AI traffic is fps killer recently. I used to run it with all slides moved to 10, now even at setting 5 fps drop to 10-15 frames with the old Heathrow. And I have 9800x3d/4090! I took off and landed at EGLL many times in recent months and never experienced this. I am not sure if this is related to SU1 or what because I have not changed anything in my PC.
Yes I may have to turn AI traffic down, that will likely be the next step. I’ve not used BATC in a while so I don’t know what traffic density changes they may have made in recent releases. EGLL looked busy though. I will go and tweak a bit. I even had same FPS over London so it could be a PG thing too. Will need to experiment a bit more.
You do dare.
With the 350 at Heathrow, there definitely was a hit to my frame rates. It wasn’t intolerable, though. (This is in 2024 with a laptop 4080 at 2560x1600, DLSS and frame gen, with injected traffic via FSHud/AIG.) Maybe 8-10 fps at most? I was able to keep around 20fps, which I can live with.
(With the caveat that I don’t know how much of that was due to EGLL vs the 350 itself. The updated 350 does seem to be lighter on the system than it was previously, BTW.)
