Description of the issue: inibuilds a320, a321 and a330 have barely any engine noise.

  • For me, I have this issue every time on specifically Beluga XL A330, running with Rolls Royce engines. I am using the livery for Beluga number 6.
  • When I start my engines, from external view, the engines sound like they are in Idle the entire time.
  • In cockpit view, the “idle” engine noise overpowers a very faint resemblence of the old engine noises when a different thrust setting is commanded.

• Yes same issue on Xbox msfs2024 SU4 beta with Inibuilds models

• The Beluga sounds normal ONLY in default pilot cockpit view. All other cockpit camera views, and external view, have barely any engine sound at all. External view has a very quiet whooshing sound like air flow but no proper engine sound more than a quiet whine.

It is, but that bug report is misleading because it suggests it’s only within the cockpit. Whereas it’s ALL views except the default pilot cockpit view.

It wasn’t meant to be misleading. It was just all that I had observed at the time. I’m rarely ever outside of the cockpit.

Did some tests:

  • From external views, engines sound seems good to me (IMO) for the A320/A321/A330 except the A330 Beluga that has a very low level engines sound
  • From internal views, engines sound seems good to me (IMO) for the A320/A321. The A330 & A330 Beluga have an issue with the others views than the pilot one as reported here: A330 Sound Cuts out when selecting an Instrument View

This is why I made a thread specifically about what’s wrong with the Beluga, because it clearly isn’t identical in fault to the other Airbuses.
