You might try a repair first, Reset second and/or uninstall/reinstall third, unless you have a potential for other conflicts, such as a 2020 community folder moved to 2024 or a controller issue. That would likely be my approach FWIW.

I tried a reinstall yesterday morning but not after the update they pushed yesterday. I’ll try another reinstall when I get home from work today.

I had the same error on PC and uninstall and reinstall worked for me

Still no luck. Uninstalled and re-installed the game went fine. CTD at the same point at around 12%.

Yes, but it doesn’t really offer any solutions. My network connection is good and Xbox servers are good.
Maybe it’s due to MS/Asobo issues entirely and it will clear up once they’ve made some sort of change?

Tried to run wsreset via the command prompt and it just brings me to the store app. Guess I’ll just have to wait as I am still getting a CTD immediately on startup.
Still got a CTD immediately after starting with the latest update. I’m going to try uninstalling and reinstalling again…

I don’t get the error code anymore. It just happens on startup. wsreset.exe doesn’t do anything for me. I’ll try the other steps that are posted in the link later.
So have you successfully installed 2024?
I guess yes and no - It’s installed via the xbox app but it keeps CTD’ing at startup trying to activate packages.

Different issue now. But frustrated I can’t get past the install.
