Ok thanks for info
I just wanted to up date upon to my case
I done full diacnostic dedicate by laptop manufacturer and results came faulty Vram on my Graphic card which has nothing to do with any settings I also done it furmark GPU test which came ok appart some vertical lines which came up from time to time
Same Error
I went into display > advanced settings and set my monitor refresh rate to 60hz.
I rolled back the Nvidia game driver to the previous release, available to chiose from on their website. Not through GEForce experience app.
I also switched frame gen off, DLSS to TAA, and went back to DX11.
One of those worked for me. 7800x3d, 4090.
+1,get since a few week´s,most sim work normal, but if this happen only empty all caches helpâŚnow a few day no problem
oh and if this not happen i get this some times,
reinstall x-box app fix it, i am shure,it is not my GPU
Just FYI I fixed this error by disabling RTX Dynamic Vibrance in the Nvidia App.
The error was occurring in the first window that shows up after loading the game from Steam (just before the screen that would let me install the actual game).
Win10
4090
7800x3d
32GB DDR5@6000
(SOLVED)
A few days ago, i was browsing the NVIDIA App and came across this setting. I turned it on as it looked harmless, and ever after MSFS has refused to work. Straight. Up.
Turned it off and the sim works as normal with nice performance.
âSPECSâ
Win11
RTX4060Ti
i5-13500
32GB DDR5@4800
Turning off Dynamic Vibrance doesnât necessarily fix the problem unfortunately. I do believe the Nvidia filters might have something to do with it, as I saw this error come up in the map screen right as the exposure of the scene went up crazy high.
Keep in mind, errors like âinvalid_callâ means that there is something going on when the sim calls functions from the driver. There could be so many reasons for this, including nvidia filters, frame gen, or the DX12 implementation in MSFS.
Will test with filters off for stability for the next week.
Nvidia Driver Version: 552.44
DLSS Version : 3.7
FG ON w/ FSR3 mod.
SU15 Beta version used.
GPU: 3060 Ti
Solved!
Unfortunately, none of the suggestions posted here worded for me. I brought the PC to a specialist that first made sure the hardware is all fine. Then the solution was to down clock the GPU.
I have a Zotac RTX4090, and I use the software FireStrom to down clock the GPU just by 200 MHz, and the memory by 300 MHz.
Since then I havenât had the error again.
I hope it will work for you too.
Just had this issue and fixed it.
Start your simulator and hit ALT+F3 to see what Nvidia filters applied.
Remove them.
Close the Sim and start again.
Basically the main culprits are the Nvidia filters.
Hope this helps
I am also getting this issue. Playing mainly in VR. Happens some times. not all the time. When its really going smoothly it generally happens.
This is insanity.. Not you or what you said just the fact that a filter is causing a crash. Something that isnt even suppose to affect much of anything.
After much searching, I read your comment and solved the problem⌠thanks I love you
Hello, I donât know if someone said it but in game settings i changed from DX11 to 12 and it kept crashing in startup, the way i fixed it was just applying the recommened setting from Nvidia app it changed it back to DX12 and worked flawlessly.
I hate this BUG
Pretty sure I wonât purchase MSFS2024 as long as MS/Asobo fail to solve (or even acknowledge) this bug.
Itâs an error with DirectX 11 change it from UserCfg.opt
For the Store version, open your %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt file and look for the line PreferD3D12 0 . Change the 0 at the end to a 1 and you will load in DX12 mode.
It works with me.
I checked mine and I had the â1â there already..
