Every start has the aircraft all set to take off, but I want to do the checklist myself

I’m just starting to learn and I would like to start off the runway, do my flight checklist and request clearance to take off myself. But I don’t see any options for that, it just starts me on the runway with everything already done.

Just start at a gate — runway always starts ready to go.
