I’m OK with those posts being deleted - they were getting into details about how to tweak the Bijan Season’s mod, for which there is a separate post. While that info may be useful to those who own the mod, I think the focus of this post should be on what’s wrong with the trees in the stock game, and sharing those examples - that’s the best way to keep Asobo focussed on the topic, rather than muddying the waters talking about 3rd party mods.
I’m strongly of the opinion we shouldn’t be forced into buying a mod to fix something that’s clearly not been correctly implemented by Asobo and is a demonstrabale regression vs MSFS 2020. Best of luck to Bijan, I know how much effort goes into cleaning up trees even for a small region, and I can see from screenshots his mod is helping in specific regions - so if people want to pay for that cleanup then fair enough. But in my opinion it looks like his mod is playing whack-a-mole with trees over the entire planet! This seems like a thankless task and I don’t get how he can keep on top of it if Asobo make more changes.
