When I change options (in particular the command options (keyboard, joystick and also general / graphics options), I would like to be able to export my current configuration to a text file, ideally: name of the parameter (tabulation) value for each line of the setup screen.
Currently, I make screenshots but as the background is black, it is very difficult to make a text file to group the options.
How to retrieve these “attribute_name” and “attribute value” values
Thank you in advance.
PS : excuse about my bad english langage ; i am french…
This should work for you.:

It can output to a spreadsheet for sorting and printing. It is one of the best tools in my toolbox.

I have been away from my simulator for A Long Time, (a long time = at least a year), and either I’ve forgotten my controller assignments or they’ve been subtly rearranged in my absence.
What I would like to be able to do is to go to my controls settings and be able to print out the axis/button assignments for each saved profile on a per-controller basis.
I DID find the xml files that contain the raw data for particular controllers and their particular profiles and, though some is familiar, a lot is obscure and known only to the developers, etc.
What I would like to see is what is currently assigned to a particular axis or button, if assigned.
For example: (for my Saitek X52 HOTAS - “Generic” profile)
- Button 1 - brakes (the trigger pulled in to the first stop)
- Button 1 + 15 - Max Brakes (the trigger pulled in all the way)
- Button 3 - Landing Lights
- Button 6 - Parking brake
. . . and so forth. . . .
Essentially decoding a particular saved profile for a particular controller so that it’s in human-readable form.
Does this exist? Can it be done?
Thanks!
