Thank you very much! I will provide more information when I encounter this again.
Same issue here. However, not all the time.
Deactivating FG and activate again, fixes the problem (for some time)
This happens to me only when using ULTRA settings, using HIGH doesnāt.
i have the same problem, when i use Frame Generator its impossible do play, extreme stuttering and flickering.
Hello everyone
I have the problem with the MSFS 2024 that the city lights flicker with TAA.
Does anyone know the problem with the new sim?
RTX4080
All latest drivers installed from Nvidia and DLSS
That sounds like a different issue. What we are having here is more like a trembling of the whole picture (see my video in first post).
How can I create a new post here with my problem?
You can follow this link and then click on ā+ New Topicā
I am running into the same issue. I have an rtx 4090 and 64gb of ddr5 ram. Not sure what causes this and I have had the same thing happen to me in MSFS 2020 as well. You have my vote. Hopefully this gets resolved
Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce this issue on the latest build.
Please feel free to provide any added details as it may aid in our reproduction attemps such as:
- Your Graphics Card and Version
- Windows Version
The latest build updated DLSS, is frame generation connected?
It still happens to me regularly, even with the latest build.
What is remarkable is that it happens more when 3rd party products are involved:
- Default A400M at Drzewiecki EPRZ
- Fenix A320 at MK Studios LSZH
I then tried with the Default A330 at the Default KJFK, and there it did not happen, that is probably why your developers canāt reproduce.
Can they maybe try with the Fenix, or the A400M at a bigger 3rd Party airport?
Is there maybe something wrong with 3rd Party SDK that brings Frame Generation out of sync?
It does not only happen for products of one developer as you can see above. It is not linked to Fenix, because it happens with a default aircraft at a 3rd party sceneryā¦
My hardware is still the same, only difference that I recently upgrade to 64GB RAM just for MSFS 2024, and still canāt play itā¦

I will gladly offer help with the investigation by getting on touch with someone from MS / Asobo. Please forward this invitation, I can make myself available when it suits then and could happily get in touch with them via Teams / Zoom and let them access my PC via TeamViewer or what else.
I am desparate because this issue has been haunting me since MSFS 2020 and I just want to enjoy the new simā¦
Hi Jane, I have to take back what I just said.
It now also happened with a career mission with default aircraft (default C172) at an default airfield (LFYK).
This is all completely default, no 3rd party addons active, and the issue still happened.
The annoying trembling started again directly after entering the C172.
When I deactivated Frame Generation it stopped. When I reactivated Frame Generation it did not start again (yet)ā¦

Iāve seen that panning shake with framegen before. Try pressing Alt-Enter twice to switch between full screen/windowed and back again, on FS20 that would reset it for a while. It was often triggered by switching to external camera and back which would start this shaking, then the Alt-Enter twice to repair it.
I had this with AMD framegen on FS20 and with the DX12 texture bleed we also had it was enough to stop me using framegen altogether.
I also got this problem from time to time in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, however, less in 2024.
The first time it occurred, Iād say 5 months ago, so it is independent of the driver I think.
I never found any way to recreate the issue, it just happens sometimes, and sometimes not.
Mostly, it happens to me in Airliners at big airports, but it also occurred in a C172 somewhere, nowhere. When I opened the graphic options, disabled and enabled FG again, the problem was gone.
Some more info in hope that you can pass it on to the tech team.
I am pretty sure that this issue is related to the DX12 implementation of the sim.
In MSFS 2020 it also happened with DX12 Beta, and never occured when using DX11 (which was my default due to this issue, unfortunately without frame generation).
As DX12 is the only option now, I would appreciate this running normally. As we can see in many other threads, the DX12 implementation seems to be bad (e.g. VRAM leaksā¦).
Would really appreciate if you can give priority to this and have the team improve it.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OPās steps to reproduce it?

I get this stuttering too, but also it has now started to stutter in a slideshow manner whenever I am at or approaching an airport, fps shows 40 - 50, but it jerks along in a terrible fashio, however, once away from the airport it flies perfectly fine, smooth no issue, fly back to the airport and stutters again. On the ground you can hardly walk around the plane itās so bad. This is with a stock plane (404 titan) and stock scenery, airport is small (KLVK Livermore) but all others are the same. Previously I had no problems at all. I have not found that frame generation fixes this issue, bit I have also seen the fast stutter as in the video, it may fix that, but it doesnāt happen everytime.

Further to this, the issue of slideshow movement in or out of the plane is specific to certain airports, at least that is what I have found so far. Test ran like this.
Start at KLVK, slideshow movements, extreme stutter as it very difficult to point in the right direction. Eventually get in the plane and manage to taxi very stop start. Once airborne and away fro the airfield, all smooth 40fps no problem. I fly down to KCCR nearby and land, no slideshow, walk about, no problem. Off to KSAC, no issues. On to Napa KAPC, stuttering about just like livermore. Back to KCCR, no issue, on to Livermore, stuttering badly.
I have no idea what KAPC and KLVK have in common to cause this, but it seems apparent it is likely a scenery issue of some kind, something doubled up or conflicting. I have no addon scenery apart from trees.
I can now add KSTS to the list, one thing these three seem to have in common is a very large hangar, I am wondering if there is somehow a doubling up or similar here, or a model with an excss of polygons. It certainly points to some airfield commonality and fault when I get no issues at some fileds, and none at others, also the issue does not fully develop until landing has occurred, suggesting it is only at the highest LOD that the problem arises. If I discover other airfields i will add them in, I do hope the developers will find this.
Additional.
E16 South Clara Co, has large hangars and exhibits the stutter. If anyone reads this, do a quick test of your own and see if you get a similar issue, that may help discover the problem. Incidentaly I took of from KSJC, a pretty large airfield with no stutters at all. As previously the stuttering only began after touchdown.
My fps were not affected, averaging at 50, but in the plane or out of it was extremely jerky.

frame gen on - dlss/performance.
same issue, seems to be pretty random when it occurs.
Ive seen it in both career and free flight, and various locations and times.
note: interestingly, the flickering also continues whilst the pause menu is active.
it feels like the issue is some kind of synchronisation issue, two frames being used that are offset by a small time delay.
