On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being best), how do you rate your Overall Enjoyment of this aircraft?
It still has VERY obvious cut/paste issues. Who released this? It still says Archer in the intro. It has a larger engine and less fuel than the Archer, yet the range is the SAME. This really wasnt meant to be an orginal aircraft was it? I’m disappointed. Very low attention to detail.
Maybe I missed it but the only covers I see are near the props. Fuel tank is selected, fuel pumps are on. Mixture is full props are up. engine is primed , but I’m not getting any fuel pressure.
For me the Mixture lever animates with my honeycomb bravo, but it does not control fuel.
I can only control the fuel by dragging the lever with my mouse.
EDIT:
After the engine is started then the lever works properly.
For clarification, this plane is automatically available in My Library for all MSFS 2024 owners. You don’t need to go into the Marketplace to purchase it. As previously announced, this is the third (of four) aircraft the team is giving to all MSFS 2024 owners for free as our way of making up for the poor launch experience.
For MSFS (2020) pilots, you can purchase the PA-28 Dakota from the in-sim Marketplace for USD $14.99 (plus the usual 33% discount for owners of the Deluxe/Premium Deluxe Editions).
I can also confirm the hardware mixture control is working normally for me too. I have a Thrustmaster Warthog throttle quadrant and tested starting cold & dark in MSFS 2024.
Well I think the texture work is really nice. Even if it is a remaster of the Dakota they put out in FS2004 they know how to make an aircraft look great.
