No rudder trim exists for the V35, which is normal for a single engine piston.
Are others still experiencing CTDs with this aircraft? I have hours with the 737 today and yesterday, but loaded a flight now with the Bonanza, and ⊠CTD
I am using the GNS530 mod, so I might need to check without that mod.
I didnât have a single CTD with the Bonanza. Donât know whatâs going on there.
I have both the GNS530 and the 750 mods installed, no problems.
Then it must be my system! Good to know, I like flying this bird too much too park it away for fear of CTDs. Now trying some other stuff and enjoying good flights in between.
Iâve not had a CTD since last Friday with this aircraft. It got better the more I flew it, but I suspect it was because of the major CTD issue last weekend. Not had one since on 737 or V35. Not changed anything either.
Is there a livery available (or even possible to do) with the rear side window painted over, to give it a more classic look?
Not possible as far as I know. If you change the file for the glass, it will change all windows.
I just did another especially long flight to test if I would get any CTDs. 2 hours of flight from Mobile, Alabama to Memphis, Tennessee, from parking to parking, cold and dark to shutdown, with 0 issues.
So far no CTDs whatsoever with this aircraft (or any other for that matter).
Ditto, no issues at all with this aircraft
Quick review:
Havenât had a chance to land it yet as the elevator trim goes haywire on approach and pushes the nose up into a stall. Twice. This is with all assists/autopilot etc off. No idea whatâs going on there.
Looks nice but so far buggy this end.
Are you using Honeycomb controllers by chance? Sounds like the kind of quirks that come up sometimes when that hardware setup overrides the sim inputs for autopilot.
Funny you should say that - yes am using the Honeycomb yoke and throttle system!
I found out what the problem likely is. Either I have two conflicting controls mapped to my yoke (as you suggested - thank you!) or I nudged the âAutopilot toggleâ (there was a âbleepâ when it happened). I think it was the latterâŠ
I tried another circuit at Ibiza in âreal weatherâ and it went fine.
I think it looks gorgeous. The flight dynamics are a bit âwobblyâ. I would recommend that anyone using the Honeycomb yoke/throttle combo use the yoke trim switches rather than the throttle quadrant trim wheel as there are big trim changes using the wheel. I havenât had this issue on other aircraft although I know there are threads about the sensitivity of the trim wheel (I love it - much nicer with my GA aircraft).
Anyone notice the rather odd ârustling paperâ noise on take-off and landing. Is that supposed to be the sound of the gear suspension?! If so they need to go to Kwik Fit.
It could just be a bit of loose trim of course. It is an old aeroplane
Itâs running smoothly on Xbox. however, I cannot adjust the heading bug with Xbox game controller.
Am I the only one with this problem?
Also switching frequency is a problem, or GPS to VLOC and viceversa.
Xbox? It works on pc. You can do it two ways, theres the switch on the gps unit and there is the switch on the dashboard right in front of you. They both toggle vloc/gps. Have you tried both?
Iâm getting the same issue only it twitches up & down only when moving and only when moving the elevator controls up & down. Iâve removed all other assignments and tried uninstalling the AC.
What airspeed should I aim for landing at short airfields?
Thanks for that.
I just had that issue with uncontrollable dive when engaging AP.
Went to set altitude and VS and clicked engage and I went into a dive.
Something that is pretty cool, I forgot to lower my gears on landing into a small grass strip, I was expecting to get the you crashed screen pop up, but instead the prop cut with immediate contact with ground and I got the scrapping sound effects as I slid along the field.
