[FBW A380] Crash with total freeze, no ctd, but the sound goes on

No but useless at this point

Brief description of the issue:

I recently downloaded FBW A380 8K, too much stutter, i went back to 4K textures and then, this happen. Apparently not related to FBW addon.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Load a flight, put everything in the fmc, then crash.

Many issues may be due to an outdated graphics card. Please state your Graphics Card Driver Manufacturer (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD) and Version (Learn how to find your current graphics card driver version):

PC specs and peripheral set up:

I9-11900KF 3,5GHz, RTX 3070ti, 32GB RAM, 2Tb

Since 6 months by now, very rare at the beginning, today, two attempts with the FBW A380, two of these “freezes”

I want to add that i did not try with another addon.
I think this is useless since it already happened long time ago with PMDG 777 but it goes back to normal situation after a while (5-10 minutes).

I do not think it is related to the FBW A380 or any other addon since after some researches, it appears that i’m not alone in this case.

I suspect MSFS servers to be absolutely unstable at the moment.

My GPU/CPU does not overheat, neither are overload. I also add that a return to desktop is impossible.
I just have the image of MSFS and various sound of the PC but nothing else. I cannot open task manager, I have to restart the whole PC if I want to close MSFS.

Does the issue only happen with the FBW A380 & PMDG 777 ?
Could you try to start the sim in safe mode to discard that a 3rd party addon is not causing a conflict ? (it will disable your community folder and Marketplace addons): to achieve that, once into the sim, go to your Windows Task manager, terminate msfs.exe and restart the sim. You’ll get the safe mode prompt option.

I had a similar issue to yourself, and it turned out to be ASUS Armoury Crate causing the issues, I completely removed it and all has been very stable ever since. Not saying this is the issue in your case but others have reported tools like MSI Afterburner causing challenges as well.

The sim just crashed again 1hr ago while I was trying to do CDG-DXB on the FBW A380.

I forgot to mention that I use Lossless Scalling on a regular basis, and I do think that the problem might comes from this software… Without it, the A380 is absolutely unplayable.
