It would appear that the FBW installer is not working, been trying to update to 0.7.0 Dev version and its not doing anything, just going around and around.
Uninstall installer.
Delete A32NX from community folder.
Restart PC.
Download and install A32NX installer.

Right click on FlyByWire Installer and select run as administrator
I’ve managed to update to version 0.7.0 but today installer is prompting to install a new sound module but it’s not able to download it
Have the same problem, just stable and experimental working.

Same here… I end up manually downloading the master branch from GitHub and manually install it and run a Layout.json generator.
… that is interesting… I manually download and copy the respective folder into the Community folder and just start the sim. … just accoording to the manual install instructions.
What does running a Layout.json generator do and how does it work? What advantages does it have? Thx.
Same here - cant update the Dev version.
Tried deleting package and reinstalling and it just get stuck in decopmpression, errors, the re-downloads…and repeat.

Well when I downloaded the master branch from GitHub, the Layout.json and Manifest.json was missing from the FlyByWire folder. That’s why it wasn’t loading in my MSFS. So I had to copy from another mod, and run the Layout Generator exe to compile them.
I’ve been using Layout.json generator app to “compile” the addons into something that the sim can read and load. Without it, it’s just loose files and folders in the community and the sim would just skip them.
I use it to reorganise my A320 and A32NX liveries into a standardised and structured manner into a single folder, and to keep them in-line with proper file structure, and individualised A32NX Coffee cups. Without it, my livery collection would be a mess and all over the place with inconsistent thumbnails and not sorted in a standardised order. Which helps me get a working AI traffic with matching livery when used with this mod Generic A320 Traffic » Microsoft Flight Simulator that I made.

1 hour ago i delete the installer and the A320dev in Community. Than clean register. Restart PC. New instal of the FBW installer as admin.
Download Dev version. It was very slow. Install was not visible as Green Installed.
Just retry and the dev version was download normal fast. It was installed.
Go try it in MSFS2020.
The dev version and Fs2crew looks oke now.
Ah. Thx. I already wondered why when downloading directly the raw GitHub files it would not work. Only the zipped one works, which I suppose is already precompiled.
Have to look into it at some point.

For everyone on this thread wanting to know what went wrong: the CDNs or content delivery networks that we use to provide you with the add-on files suffered a major outage, this outage also affected many other web services globally. The servers are now running normally at the time of this message.
