I have just tried the config in the plane and thrustlevers wont move. this is a nightmare 4th day now !
joystick seems to want to do all the work which is pointless its unflyable that way.
Very odd. Driving home now. My lever settings didn’t need to be adjusted for this plane. I only had steering and spoiler issues. I’ll send a pic of what my settings are for that when I get back.
ok thanks for that blacksanta much appreciated.
Here are my lever/throttle settings, but they’re not mapped to my stick. I have no power inputs there; they’re all on my quadrant. I typed in “throttle” in the stick settings and saw there’s a ton of options there. I’d suggest clearing anything in there if you have an actual throttle quadrant. You may have a conflict there that’s messing things up for you.
hi thanks for all the help but i am well stuck i just dont know where to go now wish id never of bought this fenix now its caused nothing but trouble I dont know what you mean all these settings and theers not much on youtube as people say there is. its nothing but streamers on there flying to what i can see. I cant even config the plane in the aircraft.
Work with the plane on the tarmac. It’s easier to correct issues there. Open the control settings for your stick. Type “throttle” in the search box. See what you get. If there are any inputs that come up, clear them. If you have physical levers, you don’t need any throttle inputs from the stick.
ok will try that I do work with it on the tarmac i have never had it in the air from day one.
when you say control setting on my stick where is that. thanks
if you see my thrustmaster its the lever on the left that i use to get the aircraft going on the runway for take off but it does nothing when i push the levers forward. they dont move.
Ahh…the TF puts them all in one box. Interesting. Map throttle numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 to the Z axis(throttle lever per the diagrams I found online). Clear everything else there. Making the tweaks on the tarmac makes for much quicker troubleshooting. I’ve since flown the F-15, 16, and 35 with these changes since the FENIX. They all work as they did before.
its only the fenix i have had trouble with with this.
I forget what update/plane it was(I think it was when they tried to ‘fix’ the 747 as it’s the only stock plane with 4 engines), but the need to map all all throttles was a change we had to make a while back. The FENIX actually runs on the V-copter settings. I noticed that when I loaded in the first time with it. That’s also why it’s better to make the adjustments while in the cockpit.
Yep. There should be 4 of them. Same setting for all 4. You want it to be your Z not Y. Y is your stick.
For future reference, X is your stick moving horizontally, Y is vertically, and Z is the throttle.
ok blacksanta I have changed all 4 to the same now and applied and saved.
Go fly! I bet you’re all set now.
