Yeah there is a few people here, that don’t see the difference. And this has been said before, but people playing on low or medium settings before will have a hard time noticing the difference since its mainly high-end and Ultra that got hit the hardest.
Examples:
- Draw distance cut in half - Solution for recent low resolution ground texture and building pop-in issues
- Pop in/scenery redraw, especially bad on VR and trackir - Slider to adjust/disable the scenery culling (reduce panning pop-in and stutters)
- Excessive LOD pop-in after SU5 ( see the videos where a city just appears out of thin air a few nautical miles out, used to be as far the eye could see on High and Ultra)
So the downgrade is pretty much backed by facts, but still people act like it aint there
