[FIXED] All non-player simobject xml code broken (vehicle, windsock, animation, visibility, emissivity)

(yes) Tested with and without addons in community folder.

Brief description of the issue:

All non-player simobjects (airport ground vehicles both default and custom, service vehicles, custom animated gates, any scenery simobject) are failing to run animation, visibility and emissivity code. Wheels not turning, lights not flashing, front wheels locked fully one direction. Windsocks not orienting/rotating to wind. Jetway wheels not rolling or orienting.
The only exception is blendstate animation, like windsocks use for “extension”.
This may be related to the multiplayer animation problem.
Important to devs: Not just animation. Also check visibility and emissivity.

Look at any driving ground vehicle. Look at windsock while rotating wind direction.

I guess it is all related to the disabled multiplayer stuff mentioned in the Change-Log. We should wait till the next update and if it is still not working we have a new bug in SU14.

ive uninstalled it and reinstalled

Windmills are all stopped. They neither rotate nor orient themselves to face the wind. This in 20 knots of wind. I have seen this both in Europe and the US.

Wheel, steering, fan animations etc. broken on all FSLTL AI airplanes.

And no contrails, with AIG too!

not just related to 3rd party SimObjects. Default GroundService-Vehicles also have no animation working

Same problem with FSX PRO. No animations…

That’s more than likely related to the changes which were done for troubleshooting multiplayer as per official SU14 changelog :wink:

Multiplayer aircraft are animated the same way as ai aircraft.

I guess it is related to this relase node.

Animated aircraft elements (ex. propellers, rotors) are not visible on multiplayer aircraft.

it should be fixed in one of the next beta updates

Flying a HondaJet over the gulf at the moment, FL380, contrails all over the place. Perhaps try the FSLTL experimental version available thru the FlyByWire Installer…

Issue confirmed by Asobo and should be fixed with the next update of SU14B

Just to prevent any confusion, there is no special FSLTL experimental version currently. The experimental version is the same as Stable (same version number). There is no difference in the experimental injector.

I know animations, etc are currently broken – but I can’t even get AI airplanes to show up in SU14b?

After upgrade 1.35.13.0 jetway buffer does not connect to the aircraft. otherwise the jetway works ok. Both at EKCH and EHAM.
Anyone else having the same problem?

Yep, this is a known issue with SU14 beta.

GSX Pro no longer works properly (SU14 Beta). The ground vehicles, etc. do not connect to the planes and the passenger movements are messed up.
