ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Ever since the version 1.1.9.0 update, in VR after starting a flight, there is a row (or sometimes spots…seems to vary by aircraft) of light that flash near the bottom of the field of view every few seconds. This only happens in a flight (inside or outside of the plane), and not in the menus. This flashing is too annoying/distracting to fly with, making the game unplayable.

Same here. 4090, and Crystal OG. Very distracting to see the green flashing line appear every few seconds. Doesnt seem to be a problems in all planes, just some.

Now that I see this thread - Green flashing artefacts in VR in FS2024 - #18 by TheSevenflyer , it looks like this problem existed from the get-go. Maybe there is a particular setting that causes this? I didn’t notice it until after the patch, but I’ve been frequently adjusting settings. It is so distracting now that I can’t fly in VR in msfs2024 because of it.

Same here, Pico4 7900XTX. Add-on aircraft.

Interesting as I was wondering if it only happens for certain aircraft. I’ve seen this on at least two non-add-on aircraft.

HP G2. I’m also seeing artifacts on the horizon over water. It’s not the same green yellow light flashing you’re seeing, but more like grainy transparent pixel artifacts. Used to see this all the time in XP11 and early FS2020.

Seeing this too, seems to happen more when flying in the late evening or night. Had it happen in the C172.

I am seeing this too… as other users said. worse at night.

I am getting this too. Quest 3 / 3080ti. Far worse at night. It appears in the headset, and on the mirrored view on the monitor when in VR. It has been there since day one.
Worse in TAA mode, not as bad in DLSS.

Try not using TAA in your settings. This helped for me

I’ve seen the same. HP Reverb G2 and RTX 3090. What worked for me was to switch from TAA to DLSS.
