Project LFPB 1935 | Red Wing Simulations (redwing-copter.com)

It looks like they are working to transform parts of the world into 1935, including the scenery, aircraft and navigation of the era.

I guess it will be a mod, like other games where you can load 1935, and then switch back to MSFS at will, but that is only my guess.

And I know it is an add on, because it said it wasn’t possible to transform all of MSFS’s scenery to that era and it says MSFS 1935 on the website.

Any way, this looks like a fun addition to this simulator. I had always wished someone had done the late 40’s like this, but 1935 will do too

I’m defiantly going to get this too when it is out.

I love flying VOR ILS approaches with no type of GPS or other visual aid, and this, with only lights, NDB’s, landmarks etc… to navigate and land sounds like a fun challenge.

And the scenery will be awesome too, based on era maps as much as they can replicate.

Glad to see it is in there, and even the aircraft from 1935, the DC-3, Ford Trimotor, and a lot of other iconic planes.

Super fun! Dead reckoning navigation. Radio beacons only. Wonder if they’ll publish period charts to help with DR visual navigation?

Who’s going to stop you?
Sorry, just pulling your leg. You mean “definitely“

Anyone remember Golden Wings 3 for FS9? Bill Lyons did a similar thing it was so cool at the time.

This looks to be a real hoot! Ant word on a release date?

They haven’t even formally announced it so far. I just happen to find it on their website. I am surely hoping it is this year though

Yes… Fond memories of Bill and his work.

Pretty excited for this!

I guess it is beyond the game’s capability to allow changes to roads and housing. 1935 London had nearly stopped growing because of the Green Belt Act but in that year many suburban estates would have been under construction, fields were quickly turning into Greater London as it is known now.

Anyway, probably not possible, I’m a bit obsessive about the suburban growth of my city. Don’t forget smog!

This is starting to get released. 1935 Croydon (misspelt as Corydon in the marketplace listing!) Airport and 1935 Berlin Tempelhof have been released on the marketplace. According to their discord Köln and Amsterdamn 1935 airports will be released quite soon as well with some French airports needing more work done on them. They also said they expected France 1935 and Germany 1935 to be released before Xmas, I think those are the products that will contain the European airway beacons, replace ground services with more period correct stuff and include 1930s AI traffic but not entirely sure.

Anyway I bought both Croydon and Tempelhof and did spot a few issues which I reported on their discord and should get fixed up. Here’s a few screenshots of 1935 Croydon:

Excellent. This will be nice with the DC-3 we are getting in the 40th.

How cool is that!

Cool, I was hoping somebody would take the plunge and report back here.

What concerns me a little with these being released on the marketplace, is that there won’t be an easy way to toggle them on and off. You’d have to do a complete uninstall/reinstall every time you want to switch between 1935 and today.

I’m also wondering how the upcoming 1935 ground services will play with the regional airport environment packs from LVFR (and simmilar). I’d probably have to uninstall/reinstall all that stuff as well.

What something like this needs, is a an app we can use to easily switch between 1935 and now. Or at the least, the ability to buy this outside the marketplace so that we can switch it on and off with something like Addons Linker.

if on PC and you’re using a mod manager just move it from the official folder to the mod managers folder i do it with all MP purchases
I got croydon it is pretty cool
