Brief description of the issue:
The Speed Control training cannot be completed, because the objective says to power down to 60 knts, but the narrator keeps telling you to keep 100knts. If I ignore the narrator and power down to 60 knts, the objective doesn’t turn green.

I don’t know why you can’t open the link, works fine from a couple PC’s I tried.
Here is the “solution” that was posted for your specific issue.
It’s not checking off the airspeed as it’s still waiting on the first step of “Reduce Power”, you have to chop the throttle back to near idle to get that to check off first before it recognizes the next step.
I have the same issue as Taroikai. At first the instructor seems to jump ahead too quickly then doesn’t respond to where I am in the lesson. I keep failing the mission even though I continue on and achieve 100 knots-4000 ft-350 degrees, then 60 knots-4000 ft-350 degrees. The instructor eventually comes back with “where are you going?”
Seems like the instructor is out of sync with where I am in the lesson.
I will try Sevenflyer’s suggestion. #pc version 1 22.2.0 Microsoft store Xbox game pass
Reducing power to idle seemed to prompt the instructor properly. Or maybe it was because I paid strict attention to maintaining altitude as soon as the lesson opened. Anyway I passed the test.
Oh ok as reported elsewhere in this forum this issue is at least partly due to the Garmin G1000 NXi update. The flight training has not been updated to be compatible with this glass cockpit update. Reverting to the older G1000 solves at least some of the problems with instructor not responding or keeping in sync with you in the lesson.
I’ve been having the same problem. I follow the instruments down to a safe landing. No warnings of a crash, just that I failed the activity. Replies from microsoft just want screen dumps or videos, but offer no help. I see that I’m not the only one with this problem. I’m recovering from shoulder surgery and am unable to provide videos or screen shots. Is there an answer out there. I am running MSFS bought through Microsoft Store on a Windows 11 PC.
