I can start revealing the content to expect of the next free update for FlightControlReplay 5. In April2024 update, you will be able to record and replay your sessions with Dune Expansion in Microsoft Flight Simulator !
The ornithopter will be replayed accurately, with its animated parts in the accurate position and with realistic animation during your various phases of flight when you have FlightControlReplay 5.
These kind of original expansions provided for free by Microsoft upon popular licences, like they did for Top Gun, are well appreciated by the flight sim community and I always try to support MSFS enthusiasts when itâs possible. Top Gun - Maverick pack for MSFS has been also supported since a long time although they make you fly in specific missions, only FlightControlReplay 5 have this wide support coverage.

Please fix the bug where the recording always breaks at midnight local time. A fix for this was promised more than 6 months ago and still waiting. Other than that itâs a great product!

Issue resolved, but going to leave my original post in case anyone ever runs into an issue like this, youâll have an idea where to start looking⌠Your registry. So after filtering through installer and system logs and doing some file comparisons, discovered that some keys had been deleted from the reg that should not have been when I was doing some cleaning. Specifically, I saw an access violation with the module ntdll.dll⌠ugh. I quickly lost cabin pressure realizing the self inflicted damage 
An unfortunate situation that will probably have me doing a clean install of Win soon, but I was due anyway so this forces my hand to fix the mistakes. I managed to get around the issue by booting into safe mode and installing FCR V5, and everything works fine now. Yay me for not catching the mistakes at the time. Big old facepalm for the false alarm.
Just purchased V5 from SimMarket and the installer fails to open on my Win11 pc. When I double click the installer, it processes for a second with the ârunning/thinkingâ circle, but then nothing. That I can remember, Iâve never seen an issue like this before so Iâm stumped.
- Nothing abnormal about my Win11 install. Vanilla. OS and drivers up to date.
- Iâve been through the typical solutions: checked if PC was plugged in ;). Checked if the installer was blocked and unblocking (wasnât blocked), ran as admin, ran troubleshooter, disabled antivirus and almost all other apps while testing, SFC scan, DISM, repairs etc. Restarted numerous times.
- Oddly, nothing shows up in task manager under Processes, BUT, in the âDetailsâ section, it shows up multiple times with diff PIDs, with status âSuspendedâ. Canât âend taskâ on those though, some PIDs say access denied, others do nothing, but again, thatâs only in the details tab, not in the processes tab.

Did you try running the installer as an administrator?

Can we set the altitude of the fly-by camera yet so itâs approximately 2 meters agl?
I want to be able to view landing replays from the ground, so this requires the camera to start playing the replay from an altitude very close to the groundâŚfor example 6 feet or 2 meters?
This would simulate a personâs eye view while standing next to the runway watching the approaching plane.
Is this possible yet, or are you still working on it?
Sorry if already covered. Is there supposed to be any sound with AI recorded aircraft? As I recorded some flights, but when I play them back as AI Aircraft, they are silent. Also, The awesome Miltech CH-47D Chinook records, but is invisible when played back as AI as well as silent.
Hope someone can advise if its something I am doing wrong, as I have not used FCRV5 for quite some time now. And was trying it out this morning again, but no sound.

This would make it much easier to use while in VR.

As previously announced, FlightControlReplay 5 was represented and sent gifts to visitors of FSweekend 2024, the big flight simulation show held at Lelystad, near Amsterdam in Netherlands this month.

SIMMARKET representatives reported to me also that several users reached their booth at the recent FSweekend 2024 show in Lelystad Netherlands with the expectation to meet with me. Just like you as users, the flightsim development is only a hobby beside my main activity with also family duties during weekends, so itâs not always easy to join the flight sim events.

Hey,
The advanced simulation of the Airbus A320 by Fenix for MSFS is probably the most popular and appreciated of the existing airliner add-ons. With their recent updates and expansion announcements for A319/A321, itâs useful to remind that FlightControlReplay 5 comes with Custom Support for this aircraft.
Those complex 3D models with numerous animated parts, controlled by intricated simulated systems, do not use the simple and SDK compliante bits of code. Thatâs why I have to look up carefully and adds dedicated programming scripts to ensure that FlightControlReplay will actually detect the exact animation information, position, speed, status, so they can be accurately replayed after your recording session : supported parts are Spoilers, Flaps, Gear and Reversers. Just donât forget that Replay with an advanced aircraft requires to reload a new flight from MSFS, and then only you can load the Replay .FCR file.
End of April is coming fast and my announced update with MS Dune Expansion support is not ready yet, so I prefer to be honest and itâs going to be renamed probably May24 Update ! Iâm still working on it before itâs yours.

Ghost Live is an original feature of FlightControlReplay to fly in formation with an AI pilot. And itâs just as easy as pushing a button to activate this feature !
It works with any aircraft and helicopter, at anytime, during your flights Live.
The AI pilot position relative to your active aircraft is not maintained as a stiff position. Remember that the Ghost is actually flying. If heâs flying on your right wing side, and you take a left turn, he will fly now towards closer to your tail.
Another interesting detail is how the other AI pilot tries to match your speed, and altitude. Heâs affected by wind conditions and your manual changes on the controls, to make the experience more immersive.

Hello everyone ! I bought this add-on with the hope of being able to make beautiful cutscenes with our companyâs planes and to be able to do, among other things, formation flying.
I donât speak English very well, and I have difficulty understanding the user manualâŚ
When I use the âPlayAIâ mode, I manage to add my recordings, but the planes live their lives and follow their personal routes⌠I thought we could ask them to follow us in formation? was I wrong?
In this case, what could you advise me to achieve this goal?
