FlightSim Studio B727

Wheres the link for the interview?

When i buy the 727 Freighter on Xbox are the ZeroG and Oil Spill response variants included in the package ?

Here you go.

Can you please update the B727F in marketplace??? We cannot fly while it’s in its current version.

I can´t buy it a the moment, since it´s grayed out. If you own it: What is wrong with the plane in terms of bugs / performance?

Anyone knows why in my passenger version, I cannot get the synchronization “minigame” to activate? When I want to switch from APU power to Generators and switch the rotary switch to one of the generators the lights don’t light up, don’t blink, nothing. I can just close the ties, and it works well, but can’t seem to make the lights turn on no matter what I do.

I might be missing a needed step, but no idea what it would be. Everything works fine, but I would like to play around with the lights

EDIT: OK, found it out. The current version has a different logic and look than the initial version from 10+ months ago when the freighter came out, so the tutorials are outdated.

If I may ask, what is the state of this aircraft in 2020? In 2024?

I was very excited for it when it was originally released, but had a few doubts as it sounded like it needed a patch or two. After that I kinda lost track.

How does she fly nowadays?

Totally fine in 2024 on PC for me. Probably in a better state than most of my aircraft ported from 2020 to 2024

It looks like whatever had it greyed out for some of us on Xbox has been resolved, can you give it another go and report back if/how well it works now?

I saw this plane in the Marketplace yesterday. The three holer is possibly my favorite aircraft of all time. Can anyone comment on how she flies and if is worth dropping the coin? I am still running MFS 2020 on an Xbox. How in depth are the systems? Does it approach study level? Thanks in advance!

I personally wouldn’t buy the FSS 727 off the Marketplace, even if it’s your only option for purchase – it’s unsupported and FSS says they didn’t give permission for the release:

It’s an excellent plane though.

I love it, it has the “ghost” engineer to do all the interactions to leave you focusing on the flying. You can do it all yourself if you want to…
Nice aircraft to old school vor ndb flying, you havs the ins navigation system to allow you to navigate over oceans and.. a genetic GPS to perform more modern real world procedures..

I love it.. like many say.. and this goes for all developers, buy directly from them or a tired and trusted market like orbx, contrail and the like and buy from there…

But how does it fly? It has been asked several times with nobody providing an real answer. I’d like to have a 727 in my hangar, but the videos I saw of this plane (albeit soon after release) showed it was handling like a 152, particularly in pitch. There are way too many other “paper planes” in the sim already, if this is just another one I wouldn’t want it.

Can’t speak for MSFS2020, but in '24 it’s one of my favorite planes to hand fly and land (top together with the A2A Aerostar), it feels nothing like a Cessna.

Will it be released “officially” for Xbox later on ?

There is an update coming to get it working on console.

For me it is quite good but not as good as the pmdg 738 (aprox similar size and weight). Inertia is a bit too much, feels more like the pmdg 777 in terms of acceleration/deceleration and rate of turn. Take off and landing is OK.
I am not a rw pilot, this is a simmers opinion based on comparison with other a/c I fly.

A 727 doesn’t fly like a 737-800. Laggy turbojet engines, different thrust, and big ole fowler flaps to add lift. If it felt like the PMDG 738, it’d be wrong.

727 works on xbox now
