FlightSim Studio Embraer E-Jets

Company Address, the empty field at the top. Either your username or the numerical ID is fine

That’s what I did. Is there no need anymore for the flight number?

Shouldn’t be, I just tested both of these methods and didn’t enter the flight number/callsign on either

Then i might give it another try tomorrow. Thx for the advice.

OK, that actually worked to import the Simbrief plan.

No I am in climb. Notice the vertical speed (well above 4000 ft a min)

And then a minute later: (1400 ft/min)

Is this another user error? It seems to be fluctuating a lot.

And overshooting the cruise level as well:

Tbh, after take off, I really thought for a minute they really did it now… but then this behaviour happened. A lot of pitch fluctionations. My pax must be throwing up by now…

Okay so this bug is still present in the plane, fantastic, 10/10 release candidate FSS fully worthy of an increased price
This is what I meant earlier by the plane not following the flight director

The Synaptics A220 does the exact same oscillation on climb. That suggests this is a sim issue.

Version 1.0 looks to be rushed. I have my doubts that they were able to make that much progress since the last update. Either they are looking to call it quits with version 1.0 or they are trying to cash in as much as they can. They must be fearing that IniBuilds will announce an Ejet of their own now that they are looking for Embraer experts.

It surely does not. I have flown the A220 a lot recently, and it is really not comparable to this behaviour at all.

This plane is still an absolute mess. I tried doing a flight. It oscillated in climb. It refused to hold target alt more than once. This list going on but this is completely unacceptable for a plane that’s been going to this long. I’ve essentially given up on it. $40 wasted. Shame too because their 727 isn’t bad at all. The ejets are just… No.

Throw it to a small test flight right now, haven’t really flown it for a while. Exp. version ā€œ0.10.41 Rev Aā€.

Note: I actually forgot to dial in the ALT

VNAV climb modes right on take off as expected, never had any issues with that lately. The climb itsel was mainly stable; a bit of chasing the FD sometimes but nothing I would call oscilation.

(I don’t know where that little bump in the vertical profile comes from…)

Level off itself was actually on spot, BUT oscilation on target ALT has become worse again; it is keeping doing that since the last 15 minutes now. It is not increasing but steady…

Is that not an old version? Stable is now on 0.10.50…

It is the last version I get with the Aerosoft installer; maybe I missed that they stopped that lane and stable is the way to go now.

So maybe I am off track and you can just use my observations as some kind of reference^^

Well, I just hand flew the e195 up to cruise altitude, then I engaged AP, and I did not experience any oscillation whatsoever. The HUD is absolute perfection, BTW. If there’s a will, there’s a way.

I installed stable 0.10.50 and doing the same flight now; level off is stable and solid, no oscillations here on my side.

xdd

I was supposed to attach a short clip from that climb here, but the plane kept giving and giving, and it grew to a medium haul:

I don’t even think I need to say a word of a comment about it

Unbelievable…

And all this is actually better than the last time I trid the EJ195 which I purchased when it first was released (and didn’t even have VNAV for a year). I gave up on that many months ago. It is definitely time for another developer to get one released.

What are you even talking about? 1.0 isn’t even out yet!
I get that FSS doesn’t inspire too much confidence, but…

Well, they have said themselves v1.0 is on short final. That suggests that this version is quite likely the quality it will remain. I am not going to express my opinion on that…
