You cannot interact with anything inside the WindowsApps folder

Old post of you but you can just attach a debugger to the process. Besides that, Steam has full access to the folder so it isn’t about hacking.

I think you did something else instead of linking the .exe because the folder is protected since launch and only a few files are non TrustedInstaller.
