FliteSim CLS yokes & Build Quality

Hey there,

I´m thinking about replacing my Simionic FF-Yoke with the CLS60 but i´m wondering if it will suffer from the same flaws.
Overall i´m quite happy with the simionic even though i had to mod it a little in order to mitigate its shortcomings.

What i cannot change is the fact, that at high force loads the pitch axis push rod starts clicking at a certain position because of the inner ring of the ball bearing having a little bit of play. This is very annoying. Whenever i pull or push against the force it sticks and clicks. Not much but enough to feel it.

Does anybody owning the cls60 or (even more so) the cls100 can give me an insight in this regard?

Thanks a lot in advance and T - 8 weeks!!!

regards
Manuel

Hi @SchimmelBonbon0
In case you (or others) have not seen this topic:

I’m talking more about long-term reviews because the issue is likely something no evident after an hour or so.

I do believe that the CLS yokes are fairly new so may have to wait a while for long term results.

Have a look here. Part one of a three part video that is really good and this first part shows something of a teardown of the yoke so that you can better assess the build method and quality. All three videos are well worth watching.

Thank you, I’ve found that in the meantime and got in contact with the guy!
