Anyone know when we might get a good float plane from Asobo or a third party developer? I miss the Beavers and Otters I used to fly in FSX and would love to make better use of MSFS scenery that involves water-based terminals, lakes, etc.
look to Bush League Legends
Bush League Legends - MSFS Aircraft
also the L-19 Birddog from Blackbox Simulations - there is a float version in the pack
BlackBox Simulation releases Cessna L-19 ‘Bird Dog’ - MSFS Addons
Yes Twin Otter coming out soon (Aerosoft), once Asobo get the water dynamics right
I have a hunch that Asobo’s new Husky will be released with a float version and working/improved water physics and effects.
when I saw the Q&A I had the same thought. Jorg seemed to hint that the Husky was going to be part of something more
Float planes:
BlackBox Simulations’ Cessna L-19 (amphibious)
Big Radials Grumman Goose (free)
Bush League Legends XCub (amphibious, free)
AT Simulations CriCri (float)
VGP PowerSolo (amphibious)
BlueMesh Skywaves (amphibious)
Parorng is currently working on floats fo his Cessna 208 no Pod Mod.

Thanks. Just downloaded the mod.
The DHC-6 comes with either Floats or Float with retractable gear.
P.S. I picked the one with retracbale gear, because it is EZer to find a place to keep it in NeoFly. In the old days, there used to be a LOT of water runways. In fact in 1947 I took off the the one in Honolulu and landed the NAS Alameda in the Marianas Mars.
For real? Did you see that the last Martin Mars was retired last week?

Yes, for real. My only time in Hawaii was just to change planes (Probably from a Connie, as I remember the flight deck was on the same level as the passengers, and there were not a lot of planes that could make it there from Manila).
Yes, I was aware it was going to become part of a floating museum.
I was worried it was just going to be lost.
I missed two chances to see one of the last two flying fires. One in 2007 during the firestorm in Northern Ca. I saw it in a lake (Shasta?) as I crossed over it on I5. I missed the turnoff for the lake, and figured I would always get another chance. The other time I found out it was resting between runs in Lake Elsinore where I often went with my jet ski.
Thanks for the links.
I can’t go, because I can’t get a passport without legally changing my name. Also, no REAL ID.
