Might have been answered already so apologies if so. I have some tutorial flight files which I tried to access through the sim earlier. Although they are present in the specified folders, when I look to load them from the sim the folder appears empty. Anyone else seen this?
I noticed that you can choose either the .pln or .flt flight plans from the main flight planning map. If you try to load a plan once beyond that point it only lets you choose .flt files. It’s surely a bug.

Yeah looks like it could be..I even tried moving the files to different locations but it made no difference
To open a .pln file after the World Map:
-ESC to display the pause menu
-Select “LOAD”
-A listing of .flt files in the selection window and file selection is limited to .flt files
-In the filename selection box type in . (star dot star) and press enter
-The file list is refreshed shown all files including .pln files
-Select the .pln file to load and press enter.
NOTE: This is unsupported by MSFS because there may be problems using this. There are three functions I know of that use flight plan information from the World Map: Navlog, VFR Map, and GPS/FMS flight plan. These three may become desynchronized loading a flight plan as described above. Using a .flt file instead of .pln prevents desynchronization but causes other issues.
This isn’t a “bug” because nothing is broken. This is a deliberate design in MSFS to protect users from themselves.

Thanks for the information. That at least explains why it is like it is. I would however suggest that if a flight plan can’t be loaded once in the aircraft then the implementation is flawed and not realistic. Another thing that needs improvement. The list goes on.
Interesting… Does this update ATC? Because thats all I really care about. I don’t mind setting up the flight plan in the aircraft manually, but when I do that it rarely gives me the option to request IFR clearance, which is a little bit immersion killing when I spent 30 minutes configuring the A320NX.
My issue is that I can’t even find the pln or flt files even when planning in the world map let alone beyond it
Specifically I’m trying to fly the aerosoft crj tutorial flight. I in fairness haven’t created my own and tried to launch them so I’ll give that a try…could an aerosoft bug
It depends on the aircraft. I don’t fly the A320nx so I don’t know if it is implemented for that aircraft. Personally, I’m waiting for Asobo to implement two crew pilots. Flying.the A320 single pilot is an immersion killer for me.
I loaded a previously saved fp on Xbox, the top panel (atc, camera, weather etc) was missing.
