FLY button not working in world map

I clicked the “FLY” button in MSFS world map, the button goes grey, but then nothing happens. i can still go in and change my plane or back out to the main menu. i can reset the flight and load it again, but fly button still does nothing.

Anyone had this happen before and know the work around?

UPDATE: i quit MSFS and reloaded it again, same thing

Brief description of the issue:

This has never happened to me before in all the years I’ve been flying in MSFS. But today randomly, when trying to load a flight from the World Map, when I press the ‘FLY’ button, it turns grey but nothing happens. The sim will not load the flight. I can still click around the menu, change planes, go back to main menu etc. However nothing I do will get the sim the load the flight

You may find some help from this support checklist:

I figured it out. I’m trying to load from LCMD and this airstrip seems to be broken. Can load other airports fine.

Hello,

I think LCMD may be either a custom airport or generated by Navigraph. It is not in the base sim.

hobanagerik experienced the same thing at that airport:

I know that this was moved out of Bug Reports, but please remember that when logging bug reports, you should test it with all addons turned off.

according to littlenavmap the source for this strip is

D:<MSFS>\Official\Steam\microsoft-bushtrip-sanjuan\Scenery\bushtrip-sanjuan\Scenery\San Juan.bgl

which is strange but made me think it’s official

Mea culpa! I didn’t know that the bush trip installs a new airport.

I think it adds a couple of airports.

Since you both have corroborated this issue, if one of you could log a bug report for it, we’ll see if QA can reproduce the error.
