FlyByWire A320 Will Not Move

Hey guys, sorry if this has been discussed before but I’ve been away from MSFS for a few months and today I decided to fire the game up again hoping to take a short flight in the FBW A320. However since I last played the game they have apparently updated the plane to a point where I have no idea how to get the airplane to move. When I try to push the plane back from the gate the pushback tractor will hook up but the plane won’t move. I even started the engines and tried to power out of the gate but again the plane would not budge. I’ve read that they have implemented a working hydraulic system into the plane so I’m not sure if I need to do something with that in order to get the plane to move or what? So can someone please help me by letting me know what I’m doing wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes I do have the parking brake released.

Which version of the FBW A320n? Have you updated your copy?

I just updated the the latest developer copy yesterday. The FBW Installer says it’s version 654061f.

Ok, so assuming you are using the correct version… You say you’re trying to use the pushback truck. The one via the ATC Menu or the one using the FlyPad?

I once had a similar issue and the only way I could get the plane unstuck was to quit the sim and restart.

I tried using the standard in game way and using the pushback helper mod. Both ways would hook the pushback up to the airplane but neither way would actually push the plane back.

What about the FlyByWire pushback? It’s on the tablet in the A320 cockpit, to the left

Well I just tried the pushback option using the tablet and that worked! Kinda odd they would deactivate all other pushback options but hey as long as I know what to do to get moving I’ll deal with it. Thanks for the help!

The parking brake has been changed to be more realistic. It uses a different simvar to indicate it’s status. As a result, tools like pushback helper need to be modified to read the parking brake status. Pushback helper has been updated for this. Try updating your pushback helper and see if that works.

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to update it and give it a shot tomorrow.

Hey dude, I’m having the same problem. I notice that the wheels are spinning but the aircraft doesn’t move. Is yours the same? Look carefully.

I’m having the same problem, engines start up but A32NX dev mode will not move when increasing the throttle. Also cannot select lo hi or max autobrake!

Three years later and I am having the same problems with A320 not moving after push back. Using Xbox X. All up to date. Brake off. Had tug not disconnect. ATC would not let me stop the pushback. Reprogrammed AGAIN and got tug to pull back, then the plane would not move. About ready to give up on A320. Have programmed flight plans numerous times, only to end up not moving. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Switched to Boeing 787-10. Same problem. Push back worked, but no move after end. PLEASE!! FIX!!

Gave 787 another go. This time push back did not work. Makes this sim unplayable.

I’m A380 had the not moving problem, I think it was because I hadn’t activated the four eng switches to the far right of overhead panel. They are under guards that you have to flip up.
